Every Witch Way but Wolf (Magical Misfits Mysteries Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars 350 ratings

Fanged trouble comes to the magical small town of Crimson Cove. Who's getting bitten?

How did the werewolf lose his head?

No, it's not a joke. Crimson Cove is awash with warring werewolves. And I'm not purring. Werewolves mean trouble.

And then there's the continued
invasion of non-magicals. Why are they here? How do they keep sneaking in? It's another thing that has my fluffy murder mittens twitching.

When top werewolf negotiator, Emron Laker, loses his head, the trouble bubbles and risks boiling over as werewolves rampage and demand justice, putting my wonderful witch and all the non-magicals at risk.

As reluctant as I am to put my witch in harm's way, we want the werewolves gone, so offer our services as part of our animal control duties to sniff out the killer (well, I'll do the sniffing!)

We find troubled packs, unhappy bonds, and a den of issues to hunt through. Things are about to get frisky. Want to tag along and see what clues we discover?

K. E. O'Connor is the author of the Magical Misfit Mysteries, Witch Haven mystery series, the Crypt Witch cozy mysteries, the Lorna Shadow ghost mysteries, the Holly Holmes baking mysteries, the Zee Town paranormal cozy series, and the Old Sarum mystery series, along with other titles available if you cast the right spell. She can imagine dragons, taste cookies when they aren't even there, and hear the crack of a witch's broom at a hundred paces. K. E. I cannot seem to start one without finishing it. I've never been compelled to read anything where the main character is an animal, but these have me hooked. To say it all started with a book called Warriors.

Ok, werewolves hierarchy really stinks. Especially when the alpha is a real jerk and extremely violent. Pack mentality, yuck! Anyway, this was a particularly interesting murder mystery. There were so many reasons and suspects in this murder. The victim was not we liked at all. But, who did it? And why are the non-magical humans finding their way into Crimson Cove? They are everywhere!

I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful this book series is. It has everything-Talking familiars (pets, animals)Vampires,Werewolves elves, pixies and Angels! This series is fun to read and I can’t put the book down til I finish! Try one and you’ll be hooked. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

In this book, all the time! I never thought about how magical beings would perceive those with no powers. But, they do seem to distract and just plain get in the way of murder mysteries, werewolves in treaty discussions and magical lives altogether.

I received a free copy of "Every Witch Way but Meow" from one of the author's giveaways, but have now gotten the entire series! I love Juno and think hearing the story from the familiar's perspective is so clever. I am now reading book 7 and have enjoyed each one. It's so exciting when you can dive into a series and cant wait for the next time you can read! I finish a book every couple of days and fully plan on reading the sister series with Tempest and the crypt witches next! I have recommended this series to my kids and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new witchy mystery. Youll love it!

I really enjoyed everything about this book. The characters, old and new, are interesting and really make it come alive. The plot, full of the twists and turns we love, grabs your attention and makes you keep reading as you tell yourself, "Just one more page" over and over. It's great!

I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this engaging book and can highly recommend it to anyone who loves great storytelling.

Another great book in this series! I love the characters and this story had plenty to keep me guessing. An easy enjoyable read that has left me wanting more of Crimson Cove and its magical inhabitants. I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.
