This is a story set in Dragonfly Pointe which is a place that Tamara Ferguson sets her stories in. There are intertwined characters and storylines from other books but it can be read as a standalone. I love all the stories from Dragonfly Pointe.     Irresistible, charming and filled with all good things that make a love story a delicious read, this is the sort of book you don't want to rush through, but instead savor page by page. The small Wisconsin town of Crystal Rock comes to life under the author's skilled hand, populated with close family and dear friends dealing with the losses and joys life has to offer, as well as people hiding unsuspected in the open, who wish others harm. I loved Crystal Rock Lake and the wistful hallowed ground of Dragonfly Pointe, but most of all the characters of Kate and Murphy as they struggle to find faith in themselves and what they truly mean to each other.

    Kate, at nineteen, is a refreshing heroine in a genre where heroines from broken homes or lives are the norm. I doubt I would have been even a tenth as capable as she is at her age and the love that surrounds her shows. Murphy is sexy as all get out with an honest heart to match. Loved their story!!

    One last note: I ALWAYS appreciate it when a writer does her research. It's clear this author knows a great deal about rehabbing historic homes and I drooled over the seriously cool lake properties they were bringing back to life. Also, the "wood" motive behind a crime in town was genius; it's creative, yet utterly believable.

    Kate knew what she wanted to do even when she was little. She had always follow her father around from the time she could walk and always dreamed of one day running her father’s business, Callahan Construction.

    When Michael Murphy is given the opportunity to work for his godfather, Cal Callahan to learn construction for the summer, he’s excited for the challenge and to see his godparents Cal and Jenny again. What he doesn’t count on is Cal’s daughter Kate. She has turned into a smart and beautiful woman, but also his supervisor.

    Do to the situation, and things happening on the construction site, does Murphy even stand a chance with Kate? Murphy has never felt the temptation toward another woman as he is is now for Kate.

    I have read other books by this author and was thoroughly impressed. Once again I was not disappointed. This is a fabulous read. As usual the characters are strong and relatable and Tamara is one of the few authors that I have read that writes with such detail that you feel like you are in the story. It takes a while to drag yourself back into the real world when you finish. I was hooked from the beginning. A romance that's sweet and rough all at the same time. I look forward to reading more by this author.

    That Unforgettable Kiss is the first book in the Kissed by Fate Series by Tamara Ferguson. It is a contemporary/second chance romance, with some drama, suspense, a little mystery - and much more. I have read many of Ms. Ferguson's books and always enjoy the experience. I know she will take me on a journey that will both move me and entertain me.
    Again, this story is set in Crystal Rock, where all her other books (that I have read) are also set. I love visiting Crystal Rock and Dragonfly Pointe; each time I open one of Ms. Ferguson’s books it’s like going on a wonderful journey with both new and old friends.
    Ms. Ferguson has a talent for writing stories that entice you further and further into the book, and before you know it you’ve come to the end of a fantastic experience. This story was really easy to read, and I quickly got lost in it for a few hours. The story has a fast pace and a smooth flow, which makes it a quick and easy read.
    This story focuses on Kate Callahan and Michael Murphy. Kate works for her family’s building company, Callahan Construction. We are familiar with Callahan Construction/the Callahan family, from previous books/series. She is a sassy, fiery and determined young woman who has set her sights on running the family business one day. She hasn’t got the time or energy for the distraction that come with romance, her focus has always been the business. So, when the new architect/intern arrives in town to begin working for the company, she doesn’t expect to be so drawn to him. Work life just got more interesting.
    Michael Murphy has his sights on working at a prestigious Architectural firm in the big city, but he has to complete his internship and graduate before he can set all his plans in motion. He’s come to Crystal Rock to work with Callahan Construction, the last thing on his mind is relationships. But that doesn’t stop his instant attraction to his new colleague, Kate.
    This story spans about 6 years and has quite a lot happening in it- from romance, to mystery; passion and responsibility, to massive regrets; and more…. This story will keep you engrossed from beginning to end. Another great read from this talented author.

    Tamara Ferguson's book marries love, humour and intrigue with solid plotting and intuitive characterisation. I don't read much romance, but That Unforgettable Kiss has more than enough substance to set it apart from the rest of the pack. The usual genre tropes are respected but not slavishly followed, and I found myself swiftly turning the pages.

    Highly recommended.
