    Leo came to Giselle 's assistance when she fell and injured herself. What started off in innocence turned into a lovefest. Will the good doctor get his princess in the end?     A nice twist on the forbidden royal romances that abound on Amazon. Here we have a princess, Gisele, preparing to take the throne and coming to grips with her responsibilities as future Queen - including marrying well and to someone her father approves of.

    When she and her father get caught in the crossfire of their neighbouring countries battle, they flee by ship and head home to safety. Slightly injured upon boarding the ship, she is immediately taken into the care of naval doctor Dr. Leo. The sparks between Gisele and Leo fly immediately and are so intense that her father notices the budding attraction. He reminds her of her duties to the country and Leo and Gisele aim to avoid a forbidden tryst. Their chemistry however, will not be denied. They sneak around, sharing sexy stolen moments until the inevitable happens.

    Upon the exposure of their romance, the two are separated and Gisele is thrust back into palace life, while Leo heads to war. After about a year, their paths cross again and they step right back into the strong, forbidden feelings they shared on the ship. Gisele knows that Leo is the only man for her, but with Royal matchmakers, her father's wishes and a country depending on her, will she get to follow her heart or live a life in a loveless arranged marriage?

    Unique, forbidden romance. Steamy love scenes, scorching chemistry and a great happy ending!

    Leo meets Gisselle when her and her father are fleeing Welles because of a pending war within the country they were visiting. Princess Gisselle and the King were rush to the boat to get them back to their own country safely. Gisselle twists her ankle and Leo steps in when no one else does to assist her. Leo is a doctor in the navy and he helps her on board to treat her ankle. Sparks fly between them and they end up having an amazing time together on hey ship. However her father reminds her that a royal isn't supposed to be with a commoner. So before they leave she ends things against her better judgement. Will Leo prove to the King that he is the right choice for Gisselle? Can they get their chance at happiness?

    This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
