Basic and simple, not what i expected. 1/3 of the book is a journal, recipes part is ok, the exercises are kind of how to lunge, how to squat, how to stretch..

This book, Reboot with Kayla, found its way to me when I was knee-deep in the chaos of life, kids, Work, stress, and a million other distractions that had me neglecting the most crucial person – myself. I’ve followed Kayla for years, she is so down to earth and this book is too. It has a 4 week fitness plan which we’d expect from a PT; but it’s more like a life reset plan, and my long-lost reminder to prioritise myself. The weekly breakdowns has helped me to reclaim my mindset, rediscover movement (after years!), find my long lost motivation, and build good habits. The workout plans weren't about impressing anyone for me but about reconnecting with my body. Cooking the recipes became a form of self-care, a simple act of putting myself first. I admit I haven’t considered journalling in years but I’m starting to get into it and it’s helping me make better choices throughout the day. This book is more than just routines and recipes; I feel like I’ve found a path back to focusing on myself, a much-needed journey to rediscover my own worth. Grateful doesn't even cover it. Thank you Kayla!!
