Bien qu'elle ait été avocate, ingénieure en logiciel et rédactrice en chef, elle a trouvé la vie d'un auteur à plein temps préférable de plusieurs ordres de grandeur. Quand elle n'écrit pas, elle joue, s'entraîne ou se perd dans les montagnes qui dominent les fenêtres de sa maison. Ou elle a affaire à un sous-sol inondé, ou fait la queue chez Walmart et se demande qui sont toutes ces personnes (parce qu'elle est probablement nouvelle en ville). Ou assise sur son porche arrière avec un verre de vin, regardant les étoiles, essayant de comprendre ce qui pourrait être là-haut.

    G.S. Jensenn is masterful in her story telling and scientific knowledge. I can see her work turned into a television series along the lines of The Expanse - she's a classic so for true SciFi fans I recommend you check her work out. Try to start at the first book - while you can read them out of order and still get the thrill, it's much better to read them as they were published. The story continues........

    GS Jennsen became my favorite author long ago with her first book in this Series of the adventures in the Amaranthe. Each new addition only made me a bigger fan chafing at the bit for the next installment. This book is #14 in the series and it continues to impress and delight. The characters are compelling as is the story line as it twists and turns through intergalactic war with overwhelming enemies. The 'science' of the far future is woven believably into the stories and I found it all compelling and entertaining. Nothing like a great series to keep coming back to as I've read and reread these adventures four times. Thanks for a great addition to quality science fiction, Ms .Jennsen. Keep them coming!

    Phenomenal read! I can't get over how mind boggling brilliant this is, I have followed the stories from their beginnings and this new chapter makes me love them even more. I can't wait to see where this goes. ( no spoilers for you!)

    How do you bring two universes together and keep their individuality? Exactly how it was done in this book. G. S. Jennsen’s worlds are complex, full of characters and places that make me want to live in them. I fell in love with Alex and Caleb and then with Nika and Dashiel. They live in different, separate worlds shaped by history but dragged into a future where they have to rely on each other. Bringing them together was a huge concept but G. S. Jennsen did not fail to deliver.
    If you’ve read the previous books then once again we get to spend time with characters who are familiar, who’s lives we’ve followed through love and war. This book had me laughing, crying and hanging on to the edge of my seat. Like every other book by this author it dragged me in.
    New threats arise, old hatreds simmer until they are no longer contained, lives hang in the balance with Alex, Caleb, Nika and Dashiel fighting to save them all. It’s space opera, romance, war, love and survival in a story that isn’t finished yet and I can’t wait for the next installment. If you enjoy action, adventure, mystery and stories about people fighting to survive, protect those they love then there’s a good chance you’ll love this book and all those that have come before and will come after just as I do.
