When Maizie and Cherry get sucked into solving a Christmas Eve case, they don't exactly work together. But the laughs and crazy characters kept me reading late into the night.

Then The second story has Maizie and Nash trying to keep a maniac from stealing a necklace made of bullets. It was a sentimental gift that she once gave her father so she had to protect it (and keep her little sister safe) while Boomer is away for the weekend. Baby sitting has never been funnier!

I love these two series, so getting two for the price of one was a special treat!

I was disappointed when I read this set of romantic comedies. Each was lacking romance and comedy. The mysteries were convoluted. You can however, pass or waste time reading depending on which you need to do.

This is one of the silliest books I have read for quite some time. Don't think I will read anymore of them

In the first book, Cherry Tucker is sick in bed with a high fever and a bad case of the flu! But her sister can’t seem to calm her down, as she’s seeing things in her feverish haze and keeps calling the cops to check out her older neighbor’s house! Of course, they never find anything but Cherry is convinced that there’s funny business going on over there (Santa choking a reindeer?).
In the second book, Maisie’s sleuthing to find a grandmother’s errant granddaughter! She is so funny as she ignores the advice of the man supposedly mentoring her to get her PI license! A very funny Christmas themed cozy! I received a free copy of this book and write this review voluntarily.

What does a teenage Hollywood star do when she is becomes of age and is tired of the Hollywood? Become a detective!

    Great fun!
A VIEW TO A CHILL (1 of 2 books in Crimes Most Merry & Albright) is a wonderfully entertaining, humorous, action-filled story of the antics of P.I. in training Maizie Albright. Cherry Tucker, artist, also shows up with fever dreams and a shotgun.

17.5 CARTRIDGES IN A PEAR TREE (2 of 2 books in Crimes Most Merry & Albright) is another winner! Maizie says “No sale!” But the bad guys have other ideas. Enjoy!

Maizie is in training to become a private investigator but someone wants a relic from a movie she made years ago and won't take no for an answer.
This book is fun to read, the characters are cute, and I enjoyed the storyline.

Haven't laughed this much in ages. The story is unbelievably full of characters who do the most outlandish things in their times of trouble.
