    This author always gets to deep into her characters’ heads and hearts, and this story is doubly so! Theo, the professor who teaches defense classes on the side, and Lauren, who works in an office and suffered a horrendous attack that changed the way she interacts with the world, meet in a coffee shop. Their attraction is immediate and otherworldly strong. It took me a while to figure out that they weren’t just experiencing insta-love, but once I figured out that there were other forces involved that even Theo and Lauren couldn’t explain, I was totally intrigued. I’m dying to know what’s causing the strange things they’re thinking, feeling, and doing. The first part of their story ends with the end of this book, but I know the ride is only going to get wilder from here. Looking forward to the next installment of their saga!

    I'm a DM Davis fan. I loved the Until You Series and there was no way I wasn't going to read the Finding Grace Series. DM Davis writes with an intensity that draws you into the characters and their lives and keeps you longing for more of their story.
    I can't wait until the next book to see the hurdles placed in the way of Theo and Lauren.

    This is a new author to me and her work is intriguing and thought-provoking. The characters are well developed and the storyline is spot-on if a little slow at the beginning. I absolutely love how Theo treats Lauren and he is the quintessential good guy. Lauren is another story. It took me time to warm up to her, but if Theo does her wrong I am not going to be a happy camper. I will have to wait for their relationship to develop further as this story ends in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait for the next installment.

    Wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this book. Was very disappointed and will definitely NOT purchase the sequels. You have to get the next book(s) to get the ending. I’m not that interested in either of these characters.

    First I want to say I appreciate the work and effort the author put in this book, however I DNF. I got to 37% before I couldn't take it anymore. I really wanted to like this book. The blurb sounded really interesting. The H, I loved though I'mnot sure anyone has that much patience even a fictional character. The h, I couldn't deal with how juvenile she was written. If she wasn't crying she was running away. Felt more like a YA. And the inner dialogue? Page after page of angsty dialogue. This one wasn't for me.
