    This is the story about King Jamieson who was dethroned but needs to get married so he can get his country back. Caroline is just the person to help him with her Royal match making . The only problem he seems to be a complete jerk and rude. But as she gets to know him she realizes it’s all for show. She starts to fall hard for him. There is a mystery that needs to be solved as someone is trying to kill Jamieson. Will they find out before it’s too late and will they be able to make their love work. There is some passionate moments and tension. These two have great chemistry and attraction. But they also communicate very well. I loved this book.

    Caroline is a match maker for Royals. She is set to match King Jamison to be married but she has to travel to his secluded home to see him. While there she coachs him on how to talk to a woman he is interested in and on his bad manners. She also learns that his neice lives with him and she is instantly drawn to the girl. Jamison wants to reclaim his birthright from the man the overtook his throne. So he has very specific things he is looking for in a bride to be.Spars fly between him and Caroline as they talk about his choices. Soon they give into temptation and things get real complicated. When someone tries to take his neice things become crazy as they search for the girl and the people that snatched her. Will they find his neice? Can they take back his kingdom? What does it mean for him and Caroline?

    This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

    King Jamieson is still in exile. He is living in a very scary-looking castle and Caroline is supposed to find him a wife. He also has his five-year-old niece living with him in the drafty old castle along with his friend Owen. Jamieson doesn't own the castle — Owen does. Poor Caroline trying to find a wife for the King who hardly ever talks. Never smiles. Always wears black. The problem is that Caroline is getting the feels for the king and he for her. What is going to happen now? Wonderful to see Caroline get her happy ever after.

    Holy wow do I love these books this one is a 4.5 I loved the previous book so much more but this one wasn't too far off I was ecstatic to read Jamison's tragic tale the moment his name was brought up by Miles and thankfully Jamie was just as approachable and moody as i prayed he would be and I appreciate the fact that the author stayed true to her characters throughout the story there's no flip of personality just explanations and a deeper understanding to just how painful and dark his world had become and just how much Caroline was needed in his life I am so excited to read the next story and to check out the previous ones

    What if you are challenged to find a difficult man a match and he happens to be a king? Add to that his lack of social graces and oh, the fact that you are starting to develop feelings for him? An intriguing premise for an engaging story.

    Caroline is hired to find a bride for exiled King Jamison, but there is much more to the story than finding a suitable match.

    McKenna James writes royal romances and gives them the regal air that sets them apart from other stories. The words chosen, manner of speech and demeanor of the characters all contribute to the air of regal entitlement.

    In ROYAL ALLIANCE, we are treated to intrigue as well as live in unexpected places. King Jamison’s family met with great tragedy during the coup that unseated him and Caroline will help Jamie and his niece Julia heal further from that tragedy. The chemistry between Jamie and Caroline is good and there are some intimate scenes.

    This is a standalone and can easily be read without reading the other books in the series, but there are references and visits by the other couples Caroline worked with as a royal matchmaker. This is the last book of the series.

    A matchmaker meets her match in this one with an exiled king. Jamison needs a match to get the crown back. Caroline is smitten with the king and his niece.
    Wonderful to see the walls come down and these two get everything they need. My favorite in the series
