First Kiss (Just A Little Crush Book 1) Kindle Edition
Charlie is living the life he wants, except for one thing: he needs someone to take his virginity. Working his way up the management ladder at Crush doesn’t leave much time for hooking up. The support he receives from his family means everything to him, but they can’t help him with this.
Josh had plenty of time to sow his oats at college, but he chose to stay true to his boyfriend. An art student with a place at university waiting for him, he has little to complain about until he finds his boyfriend in a compromising position. After ending their relationship, he seeks comfort in his family – the one thing that never lets him down.
Every corner exposes new secrets, which shake the foundations of the family. Charlie and Josh find solace in one another, crossing boundaries they never expected to.
But between blackmail and assault, what are they even fighting for? And who will stand with them?
Find out what happens when they knock down the first domino in a long line of changes set to test their loyalty and put them on a path neither anticipated.

About the author

I am Elouise East but feel free to call me Elli. I write sweet and steamy connections in gay romance. I also touch on taboo stories under the name Elouise R East.
Books that tell the stories where friendship and family are the focal point - be it blood family or chosen - is very important to me. That’s why I include a variety of personalities, talents, ages, situations and abilities as I believe a story needs, or a character needs. I want my characters to be real, to be relatable, to be free to have whatever views they tell me they have. And trust me, most of the time, I do not have any say in the matter!
My characters come to life on the page for me as well as my readers. Their stories unfold in front of me, and I have very little input into how they want to be shown. Just like real life, the lives of my characters change with every choice, every interaction and every conversation. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I write books that are emotionally realistic, even if liberties are taken with other aspects of my stories. I don’t know any other way to write. It comes from deep inside.
Who am I? A single parent to two children who make life worth living. An avid reader who still devours every book she can get her hands on. A student of learning about any subject that takes her fancy. An author of books she would read herself. And a romantic at heart who loves anything cheesy.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 December 2020What an amazing read. Couldn’t put it down. Wanted to see how it turned out. Has a few twists you don’t expect. Glad it all worked out for them in the end. Such a great book
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 January 2022I’m living for my LGBTQ+ smut at the minute! The taboo relationship trope is one of my favourites. Looking forward to book 2!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2021It was one problem after another, the biggest one turned out to irrelevant, but it’s a tough journey to finally get to a HEA. Some nasty moments, some odd surprises, but a great end.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 July 2019When I got this book I don't think I was prepared for the out come of the story this was very compelling and emotionally real in every aspect of the story how both Josh and Charlie were treated and how their parents and real friends accepted them ,to experience and the confusion and feeling of what they arrested going through and the way people would perceived that must have shown strength and courage on both of them and then the secrets the parents had kept from them would have been hard for anyone to deal with especially with everything else going on .For me this was a well written and thought out story and would like to read more from author like this book very good read

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Debut
This was an amazing debut book by Elouise East. I've read similar books before but there was something in the way this was written that had me rooting for Charlie and Josh. It was so sweet the way Josh treated Charlie, always putting his feelings first. Loved when he called him Charlie Bear. The angst was realistic and added to the story. This was not a cookie cutter take on brotherly love but a refreshing change with supportive family and friends. I just loved it and you will too. Book 2 and 3 are out now so on to the next.

4.0 out of 5 stars A sweet slightly taboo read
I have read all of Elouise East's taboo books and thought it was time to start on her more mainstream books. I loved First Kiss, which has a slightly taboo theme but turns out to be not as taboo as the characters first believe.
I loved Charlie and Josh and the connection they share. I loved getting to know them and felt for them both as they deal with their feelings for each other and uncovered secrets that their parents have been keeping from them for years.
I liked that the majority of their friends were supportive of their relationship and even if they didn't understand stood by them.
There were a few twists and some not-so-nice characters who did some decidedly horrible things to Charlie and Josh and I'm glad they get what is coming to them.
A sweet read with a great HEA

4.0 out of 5 stars Good read
Charlie and Josh are brothers. Both have gotten involved with jerks. They comfort each other at times and forbidden feelings arise. Then their parents drop a bombshell on them. Their dad walks in on them giving each other comfort and more secrets are revealed. Then things get nasty because of the jerks. Josh and Charlie have a hard road to follow. Can they do it? Will all these secrets break up the family?
I liked this story. I liked Josh and Charlie. They are opposites but their strengths and weaknesses mesh well. I liked their real friends who give support and aid. As the story unfolds, they do ask their close friends to accept on faith what is occurring will work out and they will explain. The villains get what they deserve. Josh, Charlie, and their parents learn how serious the repercussions from keeping secrets are. I look forward to more of this series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Story
OK, Ummm, I didn't read the blurb for this, I just went straight into it after reading and enjoying the novella prelude to this series, I had no idea what was coming. Truly, I wasn't sure if I wanted to carry on at first, it was a teensy bit disturbing for me, but I reminded myself that I've always said, ' To each his own, don't judge', so I carried on, and I'm glad I did. Mainly I trusted this author and, as I thought, got an amazing but tough read, just incredible.

4.0 out of 5 stars Taboo but not
I wasn't sure if I would like this book based on the blurb but it was tasteful and of course has a HEA.
It is a bit out there but it could happen in RL.
Josh n Charlie's story is well written, intriguing start to and series.
