Dr Rupy is a London-based doctor, specialising in General Practice and Emergency Medicine, who is on a mission to reverse the tidal wave of preventable lifestyle disease one plate of delicious food at a time. Dr Rupy, MBBS, BSc, MRCGP, MSc is a London-based doctor, specialising in General Practice and Emergency Medicine, a nutritionist and founder of The Doctor’s Kitchen. He hosts The Doctor’s Kitchen podcast with over 20m downloads, YouTube channel and Doctor’s Kitchen recipe app that helps over 10,000 people each week use evidence-based food and lifestyle medicine to live healthier happier lives.

Dr Rupy’s life was changed after suffering a significant heart condition in 2009. After learning about nutritional medicine he was able to reverse his condition using a food and lifestyle approach. Influenced by the teachings of both ancient and modern medicine, underpinned by his own clinical experience, Dr Rupy creates recipes that optimise health. He is a Sunday Times bestselling author and has 5 cookbooks to his name as well as a Masters in Nutritional Medicine.

Dr Rupy founded Europe’s first non-profit Culinary Medicine programme for medical schools in 2017 that teaches undergraduates the foundations of nutritional medicine and how to cook.

You know when you eat something & at the first forkful you stop, maybe groan a little & then roll your eyes in that, ‘this is SO GOOD’ way? That is what this book delivers page after page, obviously highly recommend, the fact that the food is so very good for you is an excellent bonus 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

    This book has been brilliant when following the Zoe food plan. Amazing food and so easy to make. As a traditionally taught chef (French cooking with lots of butter and cream!) this has really helped change what we eat and soooo much healthier. Been a couple of months now and revolutionised how we eat. We are not vegan or vegetarian so sometimes I swap out things like tofu to add chicken or fish.

    I have well over 100 cookbooks, in most books I find one or two "keepers". After 9 months this is different I have cooked around half of the recipes, but several many times and adapted them to my own convenience.
    Aubergine and pea Curry and the sea bass recipes I use almost weekly. At least 10 others are keepers. As an Osteopath I have recommended this book numerous times to my patients who are looking to improve their gut health. Best of all the recipes are easy to cook, adaptable and great starting points to cook more healthily.

    I have cooked so many recipes from this book and all have been delicious. Lots of veggie recipes which is great. Many of the recipes are quick to make which is helpful when you are cooking for a busy household. This is my new go to favourite cookery book.

    The recipes are simple, the flavours punchy and interesting. Currently our go-to book as we try to increase our repertoire of veg based meals, but some great meat and fish dishes in there too. Since buying the book we eat at least three Dr Rupy meals a week - highly recommended.

    Nice recipes in this one some of the ingredients are a bit out there. You have to go and find them in certain shops. I am going to try and tweak some of them with the ingredients I can’t get or like
