Jenny was a secondary character in Book 3, Westin's Chase. She is the sister to Sugar, who is now married to Jared. I really really liked the Titan series novels, but this one was not really about the team. This one is a novella, about Jenny and Asher, a politician who is her best friend's brother. And Jenny has secretly loved Asher for YEARS. Okay, we can see where this one is going. Asher is getting threatening letters and notes, and when he gets one that includes a picture of Jenny and Ashers sister, at a celebration for Sugar and Jared, the sparks start to fly. Long story short, the FBI, who is protecting Asher, call in Titan to help protect Jenny. After all, she is family, since she is Jared's sister-in-law. This book dealt with the interaction between Jenny and Asher, not so much on the characters in the Titan team. I guess that is why I only gave this 4 stars, I was hoping to see more of the team in this one. It is still a good read.

OMG I am in absolute love with this entire series. The Titan Group is a private security entity full of badass men and woman who handle things the US government can't. Each Titan novel is packed with tons of high octane action and whirlwind romances. You can find all of my favorite book flavors mixed into the Titan cocktail. We have gun fights, car chases, explosives, kidnappings, the whole nine yards topped with enough spicy naughtiness to keep the heat up. The action doesn't stop.
Harber creates a whole world, with very in depth characters and locations. Cristin does so well with the characters that you know their personalities, likes, dislikes and how they are going to react to any given situation in the novels. And the locations are so descriptive that you can almost believe you just helped rescue a hostage from and Afghani mountain and then spent time in the poshest hotel in Abu Dhabi. Each book has a unique story line and can be read stand alone, however they are best when read in order as a collection to get the full Titan Group experience because most characters carry over into the other books.
The Titan series as whole is considered military romance or romantic suspense and my warnings fall in line with the genre. As mentioned above there is tons of action and tension. There is also graphic violence, language and sex. Be advised content is for mature adults 18+ and for-warned one of the books (Savage Secrets) does contain an non-consensual sex scene. It is only one scene, in one book. So, it can be skipped if you don't have the stomach for that. Overall, I really love the books and cannot wait for the next in the series to be released.
On another note, Cristin has started releasing a new series, Delta, which is related to the Titan series and does contain some of the same characters.

FYI: Winter's Heat and Sweet Girl were both free promotional read for Kindle. Click the name to check Amazon.

Let me start by saying I love this series but this book was just OK. It isn't a bad book but the book is so short that the author really didn't have time for story building or character development. In a longer book, all the elements of the story and the relationship between Asher, a Congressman and Jenny, an up and coming actress might have worked. But the book is so short that you don't feel like you really know the characters that well so it's hard to be invested in them or their relationship. Same thing with the plot: I know that Asher and Jenny have known each other a long time, but it still felt like the intensity of their relationship developed too fast.

And some things just felt unrealistic: he blew off a fund raiser to be with Jenny six weeks before his election as a U.S. Senator: I Don't Think So! As a U.S Congressman, Asher is going to take on the bad guys? REALLY? He doesn't have much of a sense of duty! For a guy who has sacrificed having a personal life for a career in politics, this didn't quite make sense.

The reason why the series works is because secondary characters are introduced in prior books so you feel like you already know them and have a relationship with them, you already care about them by the time they get their own book. We didn't know Asher at all and Jenny was too sketchy in earlier books to get a feel for her. Even when the men of Titan don't have a big role in earlier books (like Brock), you feel you know them because you know Titan or you know the other guys in Titan, so you feel like you know them by association. The same wasn't true in this book so you don't feel like you know Asher or Jenny.

I will still continue to read the series because its really good and you don't always hit a home run every time you come up to bat!

Are you kidding me? Im not really sure where to begin with this and Im not sure how I can convey how much I love this little novella. There is SO much story packed into this novella that it makes you feel like you're reading a full length book.

Jenny Chase is Sugar's sister (we met her in Westin's Chase) and Jenny has been in love with her BFF's brother Asher McIntyre for as long as she can remember. Ash is a Politician and has been focused on himself and his career. However, he's always noticed Jenny and knew she'd be a distraction. Well, not anymore!

Holy Hotness Batman!! The characters, chemistry, the tie in with the Titan Group and the sex... just WOW! I really think Harber's writing gets better with each book.

    I LOVE THE TITAN GROUP

Reading a book twice under different titles baffled me. You tell the story of one guy, then start on another with the ending. I go to the next book, with a different title, same story as the last one. What gives with that

Compared to the other Titan books, this one really wasn't that interesting. Too rushed and far fetched. Hoping the next book will be better.
