About the author

As the queen of fairytale romance, Demelza Carlton is a USA Today Bestselling author who has written more than ninety books, which have sold more than 3 million copies worldwide.
Demelza has always loved the ocean, but on her first snorkelling trip she found she was afraid of fish.
She has since swum with sea lions, sharks and sea cucumbers and stood on spray-drenched cliffs over a seething sea as a seven-metre cyclonic swell surged in, shattering a shipwreck below.
Sensationalist spin? No - Demelza tends to take a camera with her so she can capture and share the moment later; shipwrecks, sharks and all.
Demelza lives in Perth, Western Australia, the shark attack capital of the world…and she can assure you that sharks taste delicious.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Complicated Couple, but they're good for each other
Verified PurchaseMel and Luce are as tantalising as ever. They're a couple who shouldn't work as a couple, but they do! Much to the confusion, even disappointment (poor Patrick) of those around them.
This book in the "Mel Goes to Hell" series has a bit less of the office misbehaviour and humour that I love, but is still wryly spot on about office realities.
Instead, there's an exploration of the baggage we bring to relationships - baggage from our life experiences, especially previous relationships. All those things have an impact, and some have to be dealt with, no matter how much we try to ignore them.
Luce remains a flawed hero, but his love for Mel and how it's changed him is beautifully shown. He has to battle his past.
We learn a bit more about Mel in this fascinating take on angels.
A sexy and adult adventure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chasing Persi
Verified PurchaseTrying to find Mel's cousin Persi and figure out what she's been doing is proving to be quite difficult. Mel and Luce are traveling the globe looking for her, but they're always a few steps behind.

3.0 out of 5 stars I loved the first books that came out
Verified PurchaseI loved the first books that came out. But then in To Hell and Back Mel goes into Hell to get Luce, well it just kind of became uninteresting and silly. I kept saying to myself while I was reading and said it often "right" or "like that would ever happen." It went from a good story line to just plain dumb. And it got even worse in The Holiday from Hell (Book 5). That book was extremely boring. The writer made Mel out to be whinny. I actually wanted to stop many times cause it just lost my interest. In that book yes Mel and Luce went on a vacation for a month vacation but come on. Ugh....... There really wasn't much interest in the story line itself. Sorry to sound so mean.
