I have the author's first book, and loved it. The recipes in there are stunning and always impress. I was expecting something similar with this book, but it exceeded my expectation. The author has clearly put a ton of effort and love into the book, the design, the imagery, and the recipes. I frequently pull it out and show guests, and I love giving it as a gift. Highly recommend.

Add the ice cream, milk, and Rose Geranium and Strawberry Jam to a blender and blend on high speed until the mixture is well combined, about 30 seconds. Evenly divide the milkshake between four medium or two large tumblers. Serve immediately with a straw and garnish with a rose geranium bloom and a petite strawberry, if desired.

I preordered this book because I enjoyed “floral libations” so much. Floral provisions has been a let down. Although there are beautiful photos throughout the book, there are at least 10 pages, such as the one in this picture, in which the formatting makes no sense unless possibly there was supposed to be pictures that somehow didn’t get printed onto the page.
This truly distracts from the experience of this book for me.
I do have to laugh about the floral butter recipe- which starts “imagine the most beautiful butter you’ve ever seen..” — no! Give me a picture!
