- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 March 2014Cameron Hamilton. Cam is my main reason for loving this book so freaking much and I finally get to see everything from his POV! I loved Wait for You, but I have to say I enjoyed Trust in Me slightly more because it was Cam telling the story.
So Trust in Me - like Wait for You - revolves around the story of Cam and Avery. Cameron Hamilton is used to getting everything he wants - including women. But when Avery comes crashing into his life, he finally meets someone who can resist him. But Cam can't stop thinking about her. Avery has secrets. Secrets that are stopping her from getting close to Cam.
Hearing from Cam's POV made me fall in love with this guy even more. Cam is so charming and adorable. He makes my heart melt. I'd love him to make eggs for me in the morning (but I don't really like eggs, so maybe he can make pancakes?) and to bake me cookies. I liked getting to hear from Cam and seeing him battle with what he did helped me understand him a lot more. He regrets it, but he'd still do absolutely anything to protect his sister.
Seeing Avery from Cam's POV made me love her characters even more. She's just a sweet, innocent girl who was taken advantage of. I love Avery so much because she's so strong. Even though she's haunted by what happened to her, she manages to stay strong and push through and I really admire her strength.
I love getting to see Cam and Avery again. I enjoyed getting to see Cam constantly asking Avery out again and actually seeing what was going on in his head this time. Basically, I just loved everything about this book. There was absolutely nothing that I didn't enjoy.
Overall, I ended up loving Trust in Me more than Wait for You because of Cam. Cam is just amazing and I'm so glad we got to hear from him. If you haven't started the Wait for You series yet and are a fan of NA books, I'd definitely recommend it.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2013I adored Wait For You when I first read it. Avery annoyed me at times but she'd been through something beyond horrific so she was entitled to her wariness and irrational freak-outs... I thought Cam was perfect in that novel. Maybe too perfect but I loved him anyway. I loved the banter between him and Avery, the way the relationship built slowly and realistically and I loved how you could see this couple making it in the long term.
So, I was really excited to read Trust In Me. I wanted to get inside Cam's head and feel what he felt in those key moments of Wait For You, to see what his life without Avery was like and get to know Jase and Ollie a bit better.
I wasn't disappointed in regards to getting to know Jase and Ollie. They are awesome. Ollie, is a lovable rogue and Jase has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Both are good guys, they are also sexy and funny and I can't wait to read their stories.
Cam was everything I thought he was in Wait For You. BUT that is my problem with Trust In Me. The reason that I'm slightly disappointed with it. I don't feel like I got to know Cam any better than I already knew him through Avery. Thus, I can't help but feel the entire thing was a bit... Well. Unnecessary?
Yes, this book gave me some nice feels, it was funny, it was well written and it was a pleasure to read, but if you don't read it, you aren't missing out on anything.
I don't begrudge the money I paid for it, and when I'm re-reading Wait For You in the future I'll read Trust In Me too. I'd recommend it if you loved Wait For You as it IS a nice add on but don't be expecting anything spectacular.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2013This is an amazing, brilliant, fantastic book.
I have read books before where it's taken from the other sides pov and it just felt like I was reading the same book twice. This book was so much better then that. I didn't feel like I was reading the same book twice. There were some conversations that were the same, obviously but at the same tome J. Lynn made it feel different. If you read wait for you then you know the secrets but still, I found it a shock because of Cam's reaction, and because of how he feels about Avery you can feel his anger and frustration, his love and his willingness to help her. It's a story about survival, love and most of all trust. It still made me cry like the first one but for me this was more emotional because Cam felt helpless because he didn't know how or what happened. Everyone should read this book. I definitely, definitely recommend this book. It written so well that even if you read the first book then read this one, it will not feel like your reading the same book twice. I cannot wait for the next book.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 October 2013I dove right into this without re-reading Wait for You and am glad I did. It's been a while since I read book 1 so couldn't remember much about it, I think this made the enjoyment of Trust in Me that much greater.
I loved reading this in Cam's POV - he is bloody awesome. However if you have not read book 1 it will take a while to get into the story, you really do need Avery's story. Kudos to J Lynn for not just repeating book 1, but actually giving us this from Cam's POV. I have been left so disappointed and hacked off with other male POV books that have not been that, instead in places just a copy and paste of initial book. That is NOT the case with TIM. Yes, on the odd occasion there will be a bit of repetition from book one, but as this is the same story but in his POV that is obviously going to happen. I understand this which is why I am giving this 5 stars cuz I bloody loved it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Muito bom!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it
So great to read this wonderful story from Cam's point of view. I'm not one for reading a book from another pov if I've already read the main story. But I'm.so glad I did this time. It's a real feel good story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ein sehr gelungener Perspektivenwechsel

5.0 out of 5 stars Follow up to Wait for You
I love Jennifer Armentrout's style of writing. A great new adult book. I hate buying books but this one was worth it!
