Until The Sea Runs Dry: A Heartwarming Suspenseful Romance for Dog Lovers (Silver Screen Secrets Book 2) Kindle Edition
Perfect for fans of Nora Roberts, heartwarming romantic suspense, and dog lovers everywhere!
When no one comes forward to claim her, the now named Jane Smith finds herself suddenly living in a dream house with Logan Steel, the elusive movie star who saved her - but it isn't the fairy tale the world thinks it is.
After his last few movies bombed due to his wildly reported bad behavior and messy love life, Logan is having a hell of a time trying to stay at the top. His handlers give him an ultimatum: no more scandal and absolutely no more women. So, the last thing he needs is another one to muddy the waters, but she reminds him of the one person in his life he has loved, and if he doesn’t help Jane, no one else will.
Against his team’s wishes, Logan takes Jane into his home, but from there, things only get messier. In a bid to make him more likable to the public again, his publicist has given him a puppy for all those candid photoshoots she’ll be setting up, but Logan can barely cope with the dog - how on earth is he supposed to look after Jane too, without getting too close?
When an unfortunate incident threatens Logan’s very livelihood, the only way to fix the damage is by contracting Jane as his new girlfriend. In the whirlwind of staged dates and events that follow, despite Jane not knowing who she is, she starts falling for him. But can Logan really love an ordinary woman? And who is the sinister man who haunts her dreams?
Just when it seems they might survive their differences, Jane's past comes crashing into their lives, threatening to kill their happily ever after.
Forever.
Heat level: a hint of steam - nothing graphic.
This book also covers billionaire and rags-to-riches themes.
This is a standalone book with no cliffhangers, though you'll get the best experience by reading the series in order.

About the Author
A hopeless romantic, Joanne writes stories about lost and lonely people (and dogs!) who are in need of love... even if they don't know it.
Her debut novel WANTED, Book 1 of the Chase Ryder series - about a genetically engineered dog who has run away from the sinister lab who created him, and the homeless girl who saves him only for the two of them to find themselves on the run across the country against a powerful enemy - won a Gold Medal at the 2018 Readers' Favorite Book Awards.
Joanne lives in London with three adorable cats and hopes to move to the US to be with her fella once they can figure out a way around her MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities), a debilitating condition she has developed over the last few years which has left her mostly housebound. Unfortunately, it is still not officially recognized in the UK despite the World Health Organisation listing it as a physical disability. There is currently no help for sufferers of MCS in the UK. She blogs about this (and other things) on her website.

About the authors
A proud geek and video gamer, and champion of complex female protagonists, Jo brings her page-turning screenwriting style to books to weave well-crafted, suspenseful stories with twists you don't see coming. She writes YA books under Jo Ho and heartwarming suspenseful romance under Joanne Ho - most of them featuring dogs!
A self-taught screenwriter, Jo’s writing life began when she created the groundbreaking, critically acclaimed CBBC action fantasy television series, "Spirit Warriors," which introduced leading actress, Jessica Henwick ("Game of Thrones," "Star Wars: The Force Awakes") to the screen. Granted the biggest budget ever given to a CBBC show at the time, it was nominated for "Best Children’s Programme" at the 2011 Broadcast Awards, with Jo herself, going on to win the Women in Film & Television’s "New Talent" Award in 2010. Jo even made history for being the first East Asian person to have created a British television drama series.
Since then, Jo has worked with some of the most acclaimed producers in the world with several television shows and movies currently in development, she also writes for games. When she isn't working on her own stories, Jo helps others with their work - she is currently a script consultant for the BFI (British Film Institute).
Jo suffers from MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities), a debilitating condition she has developed over the past decade. Unfortunately, it is still not officially recognized in the UK despite the World Health Organisation listing it as a physical disability. There is currently no help for sufferers of MCS in the UK. Despite the wrench life has thrown at her, in addition to her screen work, Jo started to write and publish books.
Her debut novel WANTED, Book 1 of the Chase Ryder series has been a bestseller in 15 YA categories. It also won top prize in the YA Sci-Fi category for the 2018 Readers' Favorite Book Awards. It is her dream to bring all of her book series to screen and she believes she can make it happen with her readers' help!
Jo lives in London and hopes to travel across America one day in a super kitted out, MCS-friendly, Zombie-apocalypse-ready RV with her lovely fella Matt, and three equally lovely kitties.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 11, 2020This is a stand alone story with separate characters from the first in the series (there's a brief overlap, but very minor). You don't need to have read the first one to enjoy this one. I rated the story 4 stars instead of 5 because there were some inconsistencies that bothered me (someone referred to as a former fiancé/husband, as well as another husband/ex-husband). I did like the characters and the story and would still recommend it.
I listened to the Audible version. Allyson Voller did an excellent job with the narration.
Just a word of caution, there's over an hour (10 audio tracks) of a preview of another book. It's actually the beginning of the book (i.e. cliffhanger), not a prequel novella. If I had known, I would probably have just listened to enough of it to know I'd like it (which I did), but I probably would not have listened to the entire preview.

Logan Steel and his dog, Loki, find themselves falling in love with 'Jane Smith' as they help her rediscover her memory.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2021I throughly enjoyed both of these books. You kept my mind going wondering what next. And I loved you having a dog as a character in your books. Thank you. I’ll be looking at more of your books.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2021"Jane" is found without a memory at the beach's edge. Logan is a hunky movie star who finds her and takes care of her. Read the book to find out the lovely love story between them. It's very good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another heartwarming and exciting book in this great new series
Another great heartwarming book from this new series. A beautiful romance set and against the glitz and glamour of Hollywood with rich characters (including one very adorable puppy), plenty of humour and a sinister threat lurkng in the background throughout.
A beautiful woman washes up on the private beach of a troubled movie star with no memory of her past or even her name. After a rocky start and plenty of missteps along the way the pair start to grow closer and romance blossoms until the past that has haunted Jane throughout suddenly comes crashing back into her life.
If you like heartwarming stories with great characters, an edge of suspense and cute dogs with plenty of character all of their own then you should definitely read this series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Until The Sea Runs Dry
A totally enjoyable read that I had trouble putting down. Needs better editing and things left unfinished about Jane's husband reduced my rating by 1 star. I'll keep reading Joanne's stories as I enjoy them, this is my second read.
