      As you'd gather from the title, Turner's ebook is intended to give folks advice and suggestions for interviewing people via Skype for podcasts and blog sites. The book starts with logistical guidance, i.e how to sign up for Skype, and the kind of recording hardware he recommends. I liked how he didn't waste endless pages going through Skype setup, and the information on the recording hardware was very good. He refers the user to his website to see more detailed videos on some setup points, which I found a bit off-putting.

      He then turns his attention to finding people to interview, how to approach them, and how to conduct the interview. Again the content was often fairly good there but mainly inspirational ("Don't be afraid to ask" kinda stuff) rather than instructional. He continues to refer the reader to his website for additional content not worthy for the book, apparently.

      I would rate the book higher but I am sure you'll walk away with the same feeling that I have, which is this is not a true book, or even ebook, but rather an 'informational product' intended to drive traffic to his website and get him a speaking gig or two.

      This is a simple, easy to read guide to initiate you on the practice of interviewing people in Skype.

      Interviews are becoming more and more popular as a way to increase your visibility on the internet and build your brand. Also, you can use it to drive traffic to your blog.

      Skype is the most extended platform that almost everyone is using. So, why not learning the basics and being ready to perform an interview to some relevant person in your field?

      Without technical knowledge you will be able to set up, record and publish an interview. Don't be scared by the technology.
