Let me first of all extend my heartfelt gratitude to the author for candid identification of common hindrances which have been the major "killers" of business dreams for many potentials which never left the planning stages. Going through the litany of stumbling blocks which the author reveals in this book, one cannot avoid the feeling of déjà vu that is bound manifest. Soon comes the relief occasioned by the knowledge that the stumbling blocks mentioned in his piece of work have serve to plague more than just me, but so many others who have had their dreams of starting and/or owning their own business remain just an elution.The education provided herein is indeed and eyeopener. It is just that little "notch" that one needs to move past another hurdle. The right amount of dose to stimulate the courage to keep up the struggle. It contains the momentum necessary to garner just the force to forge forward. I am more than certain that after reading this book, the weight of indecision, overanalyzing, overconfidence, etc. can more easily be shrugged off, and the will get moving attained.

    I have read many beginner-level books and very seldom were they easy enough to follow along with. Other books often used more advance technical terminology or jargon that was not well explained to the reader. Not only is this book easy to grasp, but it truly is geared towards a beginner. Even those who have been in the marketing industry for some time can benefit from reading this. The book is not a cookie-cutter marketing guide that teaches you a one-size-fits-all approach. In other words, it is not an unrealistic guide that gives a generic series of techniques or terminology for marketing that promises success in the industry. However, the book teaches the reader to learn from real-world mistakes that cause failure as a marketer and how to avoid such obstacles. Because of this, I find it has a deeper connection than other books I have read because it is more relatable I found the terminology in the book to be very accessible and easy to pick up on, especially for somebody without much of a background in marketing. As someone looking to start an online business or someone who cannot figure out why their products aren't selling online, this book is very helpful. I highly recommend this book to anybody wanting to learn more about marketing, especially in the ever-changing digital space.

    Marketing is something that is often overlooked, especially by small businesses without sizable or perhaps any marketing budget, and is not always easy to understand and execute because it involves things like understanding customer motivation and storytelling which are hard to get right. This book is a good distillation of what marketing is and is not. If you learn these concepts, you’ll have what you need to get started or to learn more. I think it would be useful to have some case studies and examples of what marketing campaigns look like end-to-end, but it covers the basics in a concise and accessible manner, and the most important thing is to learn just enough to get started.

    This book has 88 reviews (89 shortly), every single one of which is five stars. That says more than anything I could write in this box. Suffice to say, if you've ever wanted to know anything about online marketing, it's probably in these pages. As an aspiring author myself, I found myself taking notes so that I can get my writing career to the next level. Truly great stuff.

    I've worked in marketing for a long time, mostly in exhibition and some SEO-type stuff. I wanted to get a better idea of how content marketing works, so I got this book. It gets right the stuff I already knew, which I checked to benchmark the rest of the content, and the rest of the content was easy to read, well-organized, and thorough.

    Although I have been in sales and marketing for many years, I am not that versed in online marketing. I found this book to be clear and concise and can be utilized by the beginner and also has some tips and tricks for those with a moderate knowledge of online marketing. I found the 'mistakes to avoid' especially helpful as well as the 'blind side of marketing'.

    This book was comprehensive. The most helpful section was on “the importance of understanding your target audience and how to reach them . All throughout, there was a lot of "duh, why didn't I think of that?" and no doubt, this book gave me a clear plan of attack for each stage of the strategy building. Perfect balance of "how" and "why".

    Its a very good book for any one who want to start a online business. It took me 2 hours to read it, I couldn't put it down . It's great.
