Really sweet book. Had just the right amount if intrigue and mystery and a whole lot of love to go around. Loved Calder’s tenacity and Hope’s son for being the pivotal part that brings everyone together.
Another Great Read
Hope Drayden and her son Billy have been in the streets ever since they escaped from her abusive ex. She’s done everything she can to keep them safe and is finally starting to turn things around for them.
Calder Stonewall has been looking for Hope and her son for a while, determined to make sure they’re ok after the incident with her son. He feels a deep need to find them to reassure both his friend Blythe and himself of their safety. For the first time in his life, his priority isn’t his work as an ME.
Hope and Calder are both strong, very decent people and the evolution of the relationships between Calder and Hope and Billy is well done. The reader longs every step of the for them to find their happy ending.
