Product description
This limited deluxe edition includes Dust And Thunder , We Wrote This Yesterday and a CD with selections from Dust And Thunder . It is bound in a hardback red leatherette cover with dark gold foil, with a 20-page booklet including exclusive never-before-seen photos printed on uncoated paper.
Chronicling the first meeting of South Africa with its favourite British band, Mumford & Sons, award-winning director Dick Carruthers gets to the very heart of what makes Mumford & Sons such a special act. Filmed live against the beautiful Pretorian outback, the band performs their most recent material and classic hits in front of an exhilarated crowd. Filmed in stunning 4K and mixed in 5.1 surround sound.
The documentary We Wrote This Yesterday follows Mumford & Sons as they travel across uncharted territory playing the major cities of South Africa with an eclectic mix of musician friends. They explore the craft of songwriting and the people, events and influences that dictate that. The film showcases the band at their most open and collaborative as they relish the excitement of playing to crowds in new cities who ve never seen them before.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 18 January 2024What a brilliant concert, I would have loved to have been there! The band are clearly enjoying every moment, and their passion for the music really shines through. Some wonderful performances, and definitely a concert that I could watch from start to finish again and again.
In terms of audio and visual quality, as far as I'm concerned it's absolutely faultless. I've watched this on a 65" screen with audio from a soundbar, and it was superb. Highly recommended!

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 March 2017Very good. At least there are some groups who are playing original and real music (and live) rather than regurgitating old numbers to a four-time beat! These guys know their stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality
I like Mumford and Sons but primarily bought it due to the fact it had a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. That aspect I personally found disappointing as to me it could just have well as been a 2.1 soundtrack as I heard very little if anything from the rear or overhead speakers. I had read that the film quality wasn't that good and I did notice a segment before the concert started where that applied but the rest was fine - viewed on 60" 4K TV on 4K Blu Ray player. The Blu-Ray is not 4K but to me the quality was fine. Great viewing for fans!
