This album is so good! WOW. This infectious minimal groove throughout the record.. It leaves so much space! This is such spacious music. I am obviously short of words for how much I like it. I have not been moved by many electronica outfits since Fila Brazillia and now I find The Acid.. and am moved again. The artificial sounds of the music match seamlessly with the acoustic sounds. It's ultra organic and earthy at the same moment its out of the cosmos.

Love this album. And I keep buying it for friends. Both nostalgic and futuristic at the same time. And even if you don't know the words you'll still feel that primordial pull in the pit of your stomach.

These guys are super chill and amazing. With this level of talent I expect great things from this group in the future.

Melodic and addictive. Dark yet not depressing. Touches deeper part of you. All the songs here are excellent but especially like Fame, Ra, clean...

    Incredible

I purchased this because I loved the soundtrack from the film The Bomb on Netflix. Unfortunately although some pieces are very similar like "Tumbling Lights" is kind of a remix of "Earth" from the film (or vice versa) they are distinctly different and I prefer the versions from The Bomb which felt more polished and thought through to me.
This is an okay album, that I feel gives strong hints of greatness without ever getting there. The unusual vocals went from original to overused to gimmicky kind of quickly for me and the whole thing kind of lacked refinement.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sharp Objects introduced me. I LOVE this!

The Acid - "Liminal" is an amazing record! I'm not familiar with the artist apart from this but the second I heard the track "Tumbling Lights" from HBO's "Sharp Objects" TV series I knew it was for me. The vinyl has exceptional sound quality and comes in really nice covering. This is strange experimental music and I was absolutely captivated by track 1 all the way through to the end of the record.

If you have BIG speakers I'm sure you'll appreciate the INSANE bass on a lot of these tracks. Trust me, It's shake the house stuff.

But yeah, if you're into something different I genuinely can't recommend this record enough. 5/5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ganz großes Kino
