Editorial Reviews
Iceland's Solstafir return on Season of Mist with the entrancing new album Berdreyminn. Evolving from their hard rock roots, Berdreyminn is drenched in the glorious buzz of vintage tube amps and classic guitar harmonies. Their bombast is wrought with translucent melodies and an artisans finesse to create soulful, moving songs that are both evocative and anthemic. The band's graceful, measured approach is cinematic in it's scope and resonates long past listening. Solstafir is the genuine article and Berdreyminn another epic moment in their canon of greatness.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2017On their 6th release, this Icelandic metal band continues to evolve with a monumetal (sic) album that blends a wide range of rock influences: prog-metal, post-rock, classic rock, black sludge and haunting atmospherics. Vocalist Aōalbjörn Tryggvason calls to the Nordic Gods with impassioned anguish, while the guitars soar with a roaring, epic grandeur. The band uses multiple tempo changes and fluctuating volume levels to carve a wide-scope soundscape, often reflecting the harsh, barren geography of their native country through somber moods and a bleak, melancholic post-metal aura—all sung in the Icelandic tongue. They sometimes remind me of Baroness, with bits of Opeth, Anathema, Fields Of The Nephilim. “Berdreyminn” translates roughly to “A Prophetic Vision”, which seems like an apt title for an album that projects such a glorious gloom of gorgeous ambient-metal. Recommended for serious explorers of the genre.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2019This band is truly special. I'm a little sad it took me so long to find them, but wow. Every album blows me away. This package includes earplugs with a sweet pouch, a patch and a pin. I wasn't expecting the extras so that was an awesome surprise.

5.0 out of 5 stars Maravilloso

What a feeling! These guys know how to do party music yet not become boring. The LP is of the highest quality, which is usual from Sony.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vale pienamente il prezzo
