Short Stories of Aurora Rhapsody: The Complete Collection (Amaranthe Book 10) Kindle Edition
Featuring Meridian, a brand new short story available exclusively as part of this Collection.
…The Earth Alliance rules 82 worlds, controlling an empire that spans a third of the Milky Way. But when its leaders stray too far from the democratic principles on which it was founded, one colony—one group of daring rebels—will risk everything in order to reclaim their freedom.
…Before Alex Solovy was a successful interstellar scout, she was building starships and planning for the day when she would fly one she called her own. Before Caleb Marano was wiping out the terrorist group who murdered his mentor, he was…wiping out terrorist groups who murdered shopkeepers and threatened his friends.
…The path to an astonishing future for humanity leads through a wild planet offering tantalizing adventure, but also unchecked dangers, when a weekend escapade becomes a test of strength and will for two war heroes.
…When Alex Solovy—space explorer, freelance scout, recalcitrant wanderer—lands the contract of a lifetime, the race is on to claim the prize. Now she must not only outrun but outsmart her rivals to uncover the secrets of an ancient, mysterious pulsar. For deep in the void, far beyond the reach of civilization, wealth and renown matter little absent the ultimate reward: survival.
…In a future too distant to measure, a hyper-evolved breed of humans rule multiple galaxies and alien species with an iron fist. But a small group of dissidents are willing to pursue any and all measures, no matter how extreme, to return freedom to the universe.
…Strangers thrown together amidst a difficult mission, nobody expects Lieutenants David Solovy and Richard Navick to be heroes. But when the mission to bring the One World Separatists terrorist group to justice goes sideways, they must take matters into their own hands if they want to save the day, get the bad guys and live to tell the tale.

"G.S. Jensen magically weaves a wondrous tapestry that pulls us in and spurs us across a galaxy of her own making. As slaves to her whims we are taken along for a ride of intrigue, murder, adventure and a bit of romance. All woven so completely that she sucks you in head over heels, leaving her readers salivating for more." -- Reviews of the Written Word

"Starshine...smoothly weaves together multiple story lines with intrigue, murder, adventure and even a bit of romance." -- The Best Sci Fi Books, naming Starshine 14th among the 23 best sci-fi books by female authors in the last 50+ years

"[A] brilliant trilogy "Aurora Rising" by G. S. Jennsen. You are thrown into action and suspense from the start and the plot of the story unravels at a satisfying pace, all the time giving the feeling of deeper and even more nefarious revelations to come. [I]t's the characters who really make or unmake a book, and here Jennsen really shines...The Aurora Rising trilogy is a must read." -- Book O' Loco
***
"This book might be the perfect set-in-space science fiction book. That's [a] bold statement with things like Hitchhiker's Guide roaming about, but I feel that strongly about it. Jennsen is one of those magical authors who make you forget you're reading." -- Novel Commentary (reviewing Starhsine)

"Start a conversation about best world-building in sci-fi, "hidden gems," or addictive and re-readable storylines, and you'll hear about G.S. Jennsen's magnificent Amaranthe series. Jennsen has a gift for connecting readers to her characters; you can't help but to be fully invested in their struggle to triumph over the seemingly impossible challenges they face. The stories are gritty, the heroes determined, the readers... hooked. How can you not be? This is a truly EPIC series. If you haven't picked it up yet, you really must." -- Discover Sci-fi

About the author

G. S. JENNSEN lives somewhere in the U.S., in a locale that may or may not be where she lived the last time she published a book (she’s a gypsy at heart), with her husband and two dogs. She has become an internationally bestselling author since her first novel, Starshine, was published in 2014. She has chosen to continue writing under an independent publishing model to ensure the integrity of her stories and her ability to execute on the vision she has for their telling.
While she has been a lawyer, a software engineer and an editor, she’s found the life of a full-time author preferable by several orders of magnitude. When she isn’t writing, she’s gaming or working out or getting lost in the mountains that loom large outside the windows in her home. Or she’s dealing with a flooded basement, or standing in a line at Walmart and wondering who all these people are (because she’s probably new in town). Or sitting on her back porch with a glass of wine, looking up at the stars, trying to figure out what could be up there.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2018A sort of spoiler ahead. Like a lot of the other reviewers I have read the short stories set in the Aurora universe (some of them a few times already), but I brought this edition simply because it had a story involving David Solovy (Alex's dad and Miriam's husband) and he's been one of these characters I have wanted to know more about. In the novels he has been deceased for a number of years and we learn about him in snippets from the memories of Alex, Miriam and Richard. Now we get to find out what kind of person he was like, while he is on a mission which brings him into contact with Richard for the first time. I thoroughly enjoyed reading, what is, a brief episode in David's life before Miriam and Alex entered into his life. As for the other stories - I love them all and its a treat to get to know the main character's through their early life experience. Beyond excellent stories that go hand in hand with the awesomeness that is G.S. Jennsen's Aurora universe :)
- Reviewed in the United States on December 28, 2017If you haven't read all the short stories by now ... and honestly, if you've been keeping up all along, you probably have. But this is a great way to have them all in one place to help save room on your Kindle or other ebook reader. Plus, of course, you get the newest short story in the bunch where you learn about the early meeting of [REDACTED, cc: Division] and [REDACTED, CC: Division]!
It also contains a great road map for reading all of the books in the ordered our dear author intended.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2020I was again transported through space and time to places that capture and enthrall me. I loved them all, different in different I ways and all masterpieces in their own way. Thanks GS for another great ride.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2017Love the extra peeks and insights, as always. GSJ never lets me down. I have almost all her short stories, but these completed my collection and put them all in one place!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2018Loved it. Short stories perfectly placed and interesting. All of the Aurora series have been exceptional.

4.0 out of 5 stars A great continuation
I'm loving the characters and story more each book and cannot wait to read the next one as soon as I finish this review as I've already bought it. There are some mistakes here and there but they are just bumps in the road of a good story. Cheers!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have if you love the Aurora series!
These short stories are the icing on the cake if you like the Aurora series. They take place at various places throughout the 9 book saga. Great for filling in even more detail of the Aurora universe.
