For full disclosure, I am on the author’s fan list and recieved a copy for free for which I am providing my voluntary review.

I loved this short story. It falls into that comedy horror genre that has sprung up lately. Think Shawn of the Dead. Genuinely scary stuff happens, but it also happens it such a way that the only appropriate reaction is to laugh. For a short story, I’d say the characters and plot were well developed. And what’s not to like about zombies and sharks, or zombie sharks? The story has a seriously dark twist at the end that was just the icing on top of the cake so to speak.

This was a fun, light read overall. Zombies and sharks. Weird combo but somehow it works. Throw in buckets of blood, Marge Simpson, and a serial killer and you've got the idea!

I was given a free review copy by the author in exchange for an honest review. This short story pulls you in at once and keeps your interest through several twists, then zaps you with an unexpected surprise ending. I’m not a big fan of horror movies or stories, but this turned out to be a fun read! I’ll stick around for the next installment.

This book reminded me of the schlock horror movies of the early 80's which I loved (zombie sharks...hilarious). Like all Mark's books...you're drawn in to the story from the first line. The twist at the end came as a surprise. I can't wait to read the next short story in what I'm hoping will become an anthology of horror.

Apex Predators is a short horror story with several unexpected twists, including an entirely unexpected ending. If you enjoy horror stories, this is certainly worth your time. I received an ARC of Apex Predators and chose to provide this review.

ARC Mark has written another great story and a winner It was packed with action and even though it was short it was a great from start to finish with a great ending. Loved the zombies and sharks

I liked the story with its unexpected ending. I did not have even an inkling it was coming. Imaginative throughout.
Minor nitpicks: possessive its does NOT have an apostrophe, and “to me”, not “to I”.
