The Unexpected Wedding (Comfort Crossing Book 5) Kindle Edition
Becky Lee is strong, independent, and lives on her own. She’s happy with that, really she is, but she’s always secretly longed for a family of her own. She just didn’t expect to get one quite like this—by marrying a man she barely knows to keep her nephew safe. Becky Lee owes her sister that much.
Cal would do anything to keep his nephew from a life of being raised by his grandfather, the same ruthless, do-anything-to-win man Cal has been running from for years. He’s all in on Becky Lee’s absurd marriage proposal because it just might be the only way to protect the boy. Cal owes his brother that much.
Neither is prepared for the danger that surrounds them or the attraction that builds between them after their Unexpected Wedding.

About the author
![Kay Correll](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/amzn-author-media-prod/nkkiadth6kmre1m94aqau2ccqs._SY600_.jpg)
Kay Correll is a USA Today bestselling author of sweet, heartwarming stories that are a cross between women’s fiction and contemporary romance. She is known for her charming small towns, quirky townsfolk, and the enduring strong friendships between the women in her books.
Kay splits her time between the Southwest coast of Florida and the Midwest of the U.S. and can often be found out and about with her camera, taking a myriad of photographs, often incorporating them into her book covers. When not lost in her writing or photography, she can be found spending time with her ever-supportive husband, knitting, or playing with her puppies - a cavalier who is too cute for his own good and a naughty but adorable Australian shepherd. Their five boys are all grown now and while she misses the rowdy boy-noise chaos, she is thoroughly enjoying her empty nest years.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2019I just finished reading the Comfort Crossing Series by Kay Correll. I'm a series lover as well as a happy ever after lover too. Even though the happy ever after part is always obvious when one reads these types of books it is the HOW they get there that is the real story. I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The characters were so likeable. Book 5 was my favorite. The story has such intrigue. Loved the inclusion of Greta's background & her getting her own happy ever after. Loved being re-intoduced to old characters & meeting new ones. If you like easy reading, love stories & series. Kay Correll is your girl. Now on to her Lighthouse Point Series right after The Wedding in the Grove.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2017The Unexpected Wedding; Comfort Crossing Book 5 is by Kay Correll. This is a suspenseful book as well as a romance. However, the romances just keep coming and it is hard to foresee them. It is also about family and taking care of them.
Becky Lee Tesson loved her job at the Magic Café. She loved helping folks and meeting new people. Today, a man came in with a young boy who seemed to be about seven. Something about the boy looked familiar; but she was sure she had never seen him. The man with him seemed to watch her as she helped other customers. When he asked for a place to stay, she sent him to The Belle Island Inn where her friends ran a B&B. Little did she know the impact they would have on her life.
Cal Gray had come to Comfort Crossing specifically, now he needed a job and a sitter for Scotty when he was working. His brother and sister-in-law had been in a car accident. His brother was dead and his sister-in-law TJ was in a coma. TJ had told him that they were giving him legal custody of Scotty if something happened to them. This was to keep Scotty out of the hands of Cal’s father. He was a cold man whose idea of children was to send them to boarding schools and groom them to take over the business. Neither Cal nor his brother Gordon conformed to their father’s rules. Their sister did follow all the rules and was a major player in the family firm. TJ had also told Cal to take Scotty to her sister Becky Lee. She would take care of him. The trouble was that Becky Lee had not heard from her sister in some time and had no idea she had a nephew. How was she going to react when she finds out?
You have several other romances coming along as the novel continues. It definitely keeps your attention.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2019This story was a good book to read it was a nice addition to the series. I enjoy the works of this author, her books make you feel like you are part of the family that the story has been written about. I will continue to read what she writes. Looking forward to finding another series of hers. I read late into the evening and like to have something on hand all the time
- Reviewed in the United States on June 7, 2018All 5 of the books in the Comfort Crossing series were extremely enjoyable. The characters seemed to become friends and I looked forward to my reading time. I was sorry for them to end. All the plots were cleverly interwoven and varied enough to keep your attention to the story lines. I don't normally enjoy pure romance novels but these were much more. Now I would love to find a place to live like Comfort Crossing.
