Loved Tristan and Alex!
Tempting Tristan is book three of the Harborside Nights series of interconnected standalones. I’ve only read a handful of MM romances but this one tops the ones I have read so far! I loved everything about it and couldn’t help but fall in love with Tristan and Alex. The chemistry between these two was sweet and steamy. They helped each other heal and were absolutely perfect for each other! If you like MM romances then you will love this one!

    OMG! This book was phenomenal!! All I can say is Chapter 12 is so freakin’ hot my Kindle melted among other things. I don’t think I have ever read a steamier or more emotional chapter ever! It doesn’t even matter what your sexual orientation is or if you have never read M/M before, this is book is an incredible love story with unbelievable character depth, not to mention some of the hottest love scenes!
    I love that Tristan finally found someone (or should I say was found by someone-Alex) who cherishes him for his heart, mind, body and soul. I felt the emotion oozing out of the pages and it had my heart reeling. They really were made for each other.
    Tristan’s love healed Alex, and boy did he need some healing. No longer in the military, Alex was finally free to live the life as the man he was on the inside and who he wanted to be and this was everything to him. He still had some tough challenges though.
    Alex’s love healed Tristan. Tristan gave his heart too freely in the past and had been hurt so many times that he had a hard time trusting again. Alex shows him how good they can be together.
    They go down a few bumpy roads, but get through them together. That is what is important as they realize how much stronger they are together. It’s really that simple yet that complex. I absolutely adore this couple. I think they are one of my faves yet!
    Three cheers to Melissa Foster for this sexy, hot, did I mention sexy? alpha /alpha love story!!!

    Melissa Foster is a author I often really enjoy. Sometimes there are books which this reader doesn't connect with the voices a character is given. This was the case with the first 2 books of this series; which I read whilst they were part of Kindle Unlimited.

    Tristan was the character I liked most in the series and hoped he'd get a HEA. Only the series left KU before I read Tempting Tristan. Had I liked the first two paying full price wouldn't have bothered me. So I waited until I had enough Reader Rewards to get this book.

    Turns out I am glad I chose to finish. Tristan is a very good support character in the first two books. He is even better as a Main character and Alex is a strong main character also. As a couple they are amazing and make you wish there were more books devoted to them. As they weren't the shallow and annoying charters the twins were IMHO.

    Liked to see how Tristan and Alex worked together to overcome their issues. Reminiscent of other Melissa Foster power couples. The thing that kept me from rating this a 5. Is the over use of the "p" phrase ( meaning 🐈) There's many other ways for a gay or straight person to express negative self talk without dependence on this stereotypical term. It's not all that far off from the f slur. So I dislike seeing authors using it so freely in their books that are M\M romances as if it's not at all derogatory.

    This was an amazing book that left me smiling and with slightly damp eyes because it’s so amazing and emotional.
    Alex is a military vet who was injured and now he’s working to accept himself outside of the military
    Tristan is a man who wears his heart on his sleeve, and watching him and Alex come together was just phenomenal. They way the push each other to heal and grow was amazing.
    Of course it was spicy, but I feel like I’d be doing this book a disservice if I focused solely on that.
    If you love contemporary/MM books you NEED to read this. It’s easily one of my top books this month

I truly enjoyed this book and I will be adding this book to the top of my re-read list! I did look into Ms. Forster Author page and it looks like this is her first venture into MM writing; so I must give her high praise for her gift to us who enjoy reading MM Romance books, as she did and outstand job!     Not very interesting. The story about a broken ex-military guy, Alex who had his demons to overcome which actually didn't seem that grave to me. He was injured in the Army and couldn't get to his granny's funeral; or he had to suppress his sexual orientation while in active duty and had problems with PDA when in military situations. Tristan was hurt by his ex because he wore his heart on his sleeve. This was not a very interesting story. There was no real plot. Just a bunch of friend scenes and love scenes.

    This was such a beautiful book! The connection between Alex and Tristan was on fire. From the minute that Alex walked into the bar, all eyes were on him but he only eyes for Tristan. Alex is a coming home from the war. He's a injured Vet, who's been hiding his sexuality until now. Tristan is coming out of a bad relationship and isnt sure he wants to get in another one. He can't deny his attraction to Alex though. These two get togethet and this is when things get good. Him and Tristan have some true honest conversations about their pasts and help each other move on from it. This was such a great part of the book. I loved seeing Alex be himself and hiding anything anymore. He was accepted by Tristan, their friends and by family. I was so into this story and loved the journey that Alex and Tristan went on to find love!

    Tempting Tristan... what a beautiful touching story and it just goes to prove that Melissa Foster is capable of bringing us just about anything and while she often features gay characters within some of her stories this was her first M/M and she didn't disappoint
    .We are already familiar with Tristan I think it was during Catching Cassidy and Dicovering Delilah that we got to know him and I remember him having problems with his then boyfriend Ian, this was probably over a year ago and now we're reading all about Tristan in his own story.
    With all the stories and series that this fabulous author has written, wether it be past or current everything always comes together brilliantly, there might be a time delay but you can always think back to a particular book and think oh yes I remember that and it all makes sense further down the line.
    You instantly fall in love with this story it's totally inevitable with all the characters that we have come to love but it's Tristan's turn to shine.
    With everyone scrambling over and trying to attract the attention of the rather hot mystery man standing at the end of the bar you could only wonder what all the fuss is about. It was a brilliant opening and once introductions had been made and the realisation had set in that 'Alex' was only interested in one person you couldn't help get a little excited.
    Tristan and Alex both had issues for very different reasons but they were perfect for each other and Melissa Foster does what she does best and delivers yet again subtle messages and her wonderful words of wisdom she always incorporates these so naturally throughout her storylines.
    Tristan and Alex ended up having a little more in common than originally thought, it was Alex's Grandmother Arty, we had her to thank, she really did bring them together...everything happens for a reason.
    As the storyline continues so does Tristan and Alex's relationship, there are a few issues and a couple of misunderstandings but nothing they can't work through and they do, their love for each other is enough to go above and beyond for each other.
    It makes you realise just how much people end up living a lie just to fit in or to conform all because they think they will be frowned upon, it's a miserable fact and this story highlights this very problem very well.
    Amongst other things!! There are plenty of endearing and touching moments, I did feel a little sad that Alex's Mother wasn't at Alex ceremony but at least she showed up towards the end all happy as well.
    Beautiful epilogue by the way thank you..!!
    As for Tru Blue... I think that is going to be one hell of a read something different again and Dylan Bad... well those stories seem to get steamier by the minute... all on pre-order..

    there is a real energy to this book that has a mix of sexy, sultry, honest, soul and heart. It grabbed me from the beginning and after reading the first chapter a week before the book came out I just kept thinking of Tristan and Alex and how the story would go. It is such a beautiful book to read and such a beautiful love story, and I couldn't put it down.

    A great read from Melissa. I love Tristan and Alex they were made for each other but I could of slapped Alex a few rimes for hurting Tristan, but as always love conquers all in Melissa’s book and thank you Melissa for that. I would of loved more of Tristan and his friends in his book because after all he is an awesome friend to have I also can’t wait till Brandon book and I didn’t realise I hadn’t reviewed this until now sorry Melissa

    I was a little unsure what to expect from this book, I've not read m/m romance before. However, I soon fell in love with Alex and Tristan. Melissa has written a very warm, sweet story that you soon become immersed in it.
    We've met Tristan lots of times in Harbourside and seen how his story begins, and how comfortable he is with his life and to see Alex, who is trying to come to terms with his life after suffering loss in the military and a change to civilian life, how they manage to find each other is beautifully written. Alex comes from a military background, has suffered an injury and finds it hard to let Tristan see that side of him. As their story progresses, Alex, with the help and love from Tristan, accepts himself and relaxes into life.
    As with Melissa's stories, it is very easy to get caught up in the story and not put the book down. It's great to catch up with other friend from Harbourside too and see how their stories are progressing. I can't wait to return for the next instalment.
