About the authors
KC May's first novel, The Kinshield Legacy, was published by a small press in 2005, the same year she attended the Viable Paradise writing workshop for speculative fiction authors. Her acclaimed epic fantasy series The Kinshield Saga has reached #12 overall on the Amazon Kindle bestseller list. Her novel Inhuman Salvation was a #1 bestselling science fiction novel on Amazon. She also writes romance under the pen name Alane Hudson. She is currently writing the seventh book in the Mindstream universe and working on a series of novellas.
KC earned a B.A. in Russian from Florida State University before moving to Taiwan to study Mandarin and teach English. She spent twenty-four years in the Arizona desert saving homeless Rottweilers, writing technical manuals, programming computers, and cooking eggs on the pavement. There she also explored a bunch of different hobbies, such as backpacking, downhill skiing, martial arts, motorcycling, airbrush painting, and skydiving. She currently lives in beautiful, not scorching hot Oregon.

India knew from age nine that writing would be her passion. Since then she's discovered many more, but none quite so fulfilling as creating a world, a character, or a moment and watching them evolve into something complex and compelling. She has lived in four countries and four American states, is a dual British and American citizen, and is currently back in her hometown where she is writing her next epic fantasy novel.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2015All I can say is "Wow!!!" I have read the Kinshield Saga by K.C. May and I think she is an amazing author. This was my introduction to India Drummond's work. These authors work well together. I learned of this book while on Facebook and let me say...once I started reading I couldn't put it down. The story begins at a nice pace and it just keeps moving from there. I loved the fresh take on dragons and the Dragonborn, the Dragon Lords, as well as, their names!. I liked how the interaction between humans and Dragonborn was described. I felt that as the story moved along, I became more of a Caden fan than a Deshic fan. It was almost as if their perceived roles reversed during the tale. I admit that Rane was annoying at the start but by the end of the book I thought she was kick-ass! I hope to learn more about Navva in future books because she was such a strong presence to me. What happens to Xishi kept me on the edge of my seat! I kept saying to myself "No! Don't do it!" I can't wait to purchase the second book in the Dragons of Kudare series!!! I want to thank the authors for such an amazing book and finally something that kept my eyes glued to my Kindle!!! If you are looking for a great fantasy book then this is it!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2021Due to eye issues Alexa reads to me, a will written fantasy Sci-Fi thriller novel with interesting and will developed characters. The story line is complicated, about relationships, family, and truth or lies racing to the conclusion. I would recommend this novel and author to 👍readers of fantasy. Enjoy reading 🔰 2021 🏰🐏😃
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2014A story that moves slowly, while there are some interesting twists that kept me reading, the characters felt stiff and somewhat unrelatable. To be honest, there was only one protagonist I liked who seemed to be an actual person and the rest of the book just scripted robots moving about him.
The dragons were well written and awesome, but also seemed to take up very little of the book. On the whole, the story lacked the detail and life needed to suck you in. I only give it 3 stars because the concept is solid and the twists kept me engaged enough to finish the book, if not enjoy it.
One sentence summary: a rushed adventure story that is slow to start and fails to attract.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2021I choose 6 stars because it held my interest all the way to the end. Thought the characters worked good with each other. Learning more about each other through each step. And pulling together as family should.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Intriguing Start - Can't Wait for the Next in the Series
An intriguing start to what's sure to be a great series. I was immediately pulled into the fascinating world on the novel. Well-plotted with some fabulous twists I certainly didn't see coming, the book had me hooked. I loved the varied nature of the characters, too - and how they changed and grew as they struggled to overcome obstacles. I'll certainly be picking up the next in the series!

3.0 out of 5 stars Some of the lies were very wordy
a BOOK OF ONLY AVERAGE SATISFACTION AND PLEASURE, some ELEMENTS WERE EXTREMELY WORDY AND APPEARED TO NOT SERVE THE GOALS OF THE TALE THAT WAS BEING TOLD.
