His Sun Drop (Summer Lovin') Kindle Edition

4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 166 ratings

Emmett Hunt

I’m a damn good doctor—and a damn good guy. I learned the hard way that being a good guy all the time can cost you—it nearly cost me everything. Once I see the Sunni Stone, I don’t care what it costs me to have her. She’s as beautiful as the flower she’s named after, but she’s never had a chance to bloom.

Sunni Stone

I might seem like an innocent flower but...well, I guess I am. I live for sunny afternoons, walking the dogs I take care of, and admiring the beautiful blooms of spring. When fate puts the same beautiful man in my path more than once, I start to think something may be about to bloom between us.

Sunni and Emmett are destined for each other as they keep meeting in the street. When her dog gets injured and she takes her to Emmet's office, they finally realize how true that is. These two are a hot item.

This was a quick, sweet and sexy story. Emmet and Sunni feel instant attraction to one another the moment they see each other. Sunni’s dog getting hurt brings the two together. Their relationship is hot and heavy with a few minor bumps along the way.
    Safety and Spoilers
Completely safe. H has only been with two other women one being his ex fiancé, h is a virgin. No om drama, little bit of ow drama. No abuse.

Emmett and Sunni's eyes meet across a crowded street. Once bitten, twice shy, he knows she is the one for him immediately just cuz he loved her quirky getup. She saw an animal lover, who just happens to be a hot vet. They are combustible from the start. They just have to make sure his past doesn't ruin their future. A steamy read but the editing could have been better.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is story in the May Flowers series written by various authors known as the Flirt Club. Emmett is a vet who recently opened his own practice. While walking to work, he saw Sunni walking a bunch of dogs. A few days later, Emmett managed to say hello and introduce himself. Sunni and Emmett flirted with each other and Sunni said she would see him soon. Emmett was smitten with Sunni and excited to see her again. Later that day, Sunni came running into the clinic and told him her dog was hit by a car. Emmett comforted Sunni and told her he would look after her dog. Emmett helped Sunni calm down and the dog was going to be okay, he just broke a leg. but would heal fine in a few weeks. Later that night, Emmett went to Sunni and they decided to start a relationship. They had a connection and Sunni knew Emmett was special. Sunni gave her virginity to Emmett and he knew she was the one. Things were going well until Emmett's ex came back and he started doubting himself. Sunni started wondering if Emmett was going to leave her to go back to his ex. I really liked this book. I love the connection between Emmett and Sunni. I think they were great together. They did move fast in their relationship, but that wasn't a bad thing. Emmett loved Sunni and wanted to be sure he wouldn't hurt her and she would want to stay with him. Good one.

Dee Ellis did a great job on this story. His Sun Drop had a great plot. Sunni and Emmett had an instant attraction, they had a strong connection, their chemistry was sexy and sweet. They were good for one another. I enjoyed their story.
This was a good story. Thank you, Dee Ellis. Great work :)

Emmet falls for Sunni the moment he sees her even though he doesn't get a chance to speak to her. Dominican't believe someone like Emmet would be interested in her but under his attention and love she blooms. This is one sexy read.

His Sun Drop is a sweet insta love story between Emmett and Sunni. Loved how even after the heartbreak of his ex cheating on him he still took a chance on love with Sunni. This well written story has believable characters and a story full of romance and a great addition to The May Flower series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The last part where they break up was totally unclear. No story so just write any old junk? Did not fit of follow the previous game on your characters. I tried to read the end and even that was a disappointment!
