Regeneration: Wandering Stars Volume Four Kindle Edition
In the aftermath of a cataclysmic flood, Sariel wanders the desolate earths, searching for signs of life. The process of regeneration has led each world in a different direction, but Sariel uncovers their unique dangers and the sinister unity that binds them together. The gods are looking to the future, exploiting their temporal advantage to influence the war in the Eternal Realm. At the center of their efforts are the fragile remnants of humanity. Sariel, inspired by the words of an old friend and driven by his loyalty for a new one, will risk everything he has left in hopes of saving mankind.
In Volume Four of the Wandering Stars, Jason Tesar’s fantasy epic draws to a close. With the prehistoric age of gods and monsters fading from human experience, a new era of myths and legends is born. An ancient prophecy is unveiled, bringing the story to a violent conclusion and setting the stage for the coming of The Awakened.

About the author
![Jason Tesar](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/amzn-author-media-prod/mua9av78t6b9edpegpt0hjp0c5._SY600_.jpg)
The third of four children and an introvert from the start, Jason Tesar grew up as an imaginative “middle child” who enjoyed the make-believe world as much as the real one, possibly more. From adolescence to adulthood, his imagination fed itself on a diet of books, movies, and art, all the while growing and maturing—waiting for its opportunity.
In late 1998, Jason made his first attempt at writing, managing to complete a whole scene before returning once again to reality. A year and a half later, a spontaneous nighttime conversation with his wife encouraged him to take his writing seriously and to keep on dreaming. Over the next seven years, Jason carved time out of the real world to live in an imaginary one of epic fantasy and science-fiction. The fruits of this labor would later become the first three books of the Amazon bestselling AWAKENED series.
Due to the incredible support of readers from around the world, Jason continued his trajectory into make-believe, jumping from stable employment in the microelectronics industry into the mysterious abyss of full-time writing. Living in Colorado with his beautiful wife and two children, he fused the best parts of his favorite genres into stories of internal struggle and triumph, friendship and betrayal, political alliances, and military conflict.
Eleven novels and one short story later, Jason’s imagination is just getting started. But the challenges and responsibilities of the real-world are gaining strength, trying to pull him back.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2015I was so thoroughly engaged in reading this story. It is the final piece in the long history of Sariel and the explanation of the beginnings of the different nations in Kael's world. I was impressed with the complexity of the story, keeping three earths, with their individual stories, flowing in the same time frame. Sariel's experiences were vividly described throughout the story. It truly captured my imagination.
Jason Tesar has masterfully woven the story of the "Wandering Stars" to the beginning of "The Awakened." "Wandering Stars" is a must read for anyone who has read "The Awakened." And if you haven't read "The Awakened" yet, finish this book and continue the journey through the eyes of the Awakened.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2015All I can say is - thank you Jason for giving Sariel his rightful story. He is my favorite character. I waited for this piece of the puzzle and I was not disappointed.
I read very quickly. I started reading and got through the first several chapters, only to stop, go back to the beginning and start again. I slowed it down and took notes - 4 double sided pages worth - to make sure that I understood the complexity of the 3 earths. This helped me tremendously and was worth the effort. I rarely did this at school, let alone for a work of fiction.
As is my usual practice, I start at the beginning and re-read the preceding books. This is not because I do not remember them, it is because I enjoy this story so much. As I get to places in Regeneration I start recognizing places and pieces are falling together rather nicely and I am getting really excited. Chapter 32 was brilliant! I actually let out a deep, huge and satisfied sigh after I had completed the books. I felt the threads of connection running between past events and future events, and I am so excited, I am going to re-read the Awakened series. Bravo Jason - what a wonderful job you did bringing Wondering Stars into the Awakened.
I never get tired of reading Jason's work. Each book completes and rounds out how epic this entire saga is, and I can only wonder at the depth of Jason's imagination. I am so glad that he has shared it with all of us!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2015This is an intricately woven series of writing. I have read all the books in this prequel as well as in The Awakened series. They are simply good reads. No gratuitous swearing or scenes for the sake of selling books. This is simply a well written weave of intrigue and action. I love the strong, yet unforced female characters. I love the flaws within the powerful heroes too. Thanks to Jason for keeping this story alive. I have recommended the series to many and all have enjoyed it. Jason Tesar deserves to get rich on this epic series! I will buy more from him.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2015I like this author, but this one is slower than others I have read.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2015...but I'm so glad I did. Not that I could have actually resisted the read, but my feelings were split (or fractured if you will - wink wink) between an insatiable desire to read more of Sariel's story and the sadness for the prequel coming to an end. This volume of The Wandering Stars is not to be missed. I didn't think it was possible to weave the two series together so seamlessly, yet somehow Jason Tesar has managed to do it, and managed to make it intriguing every step of the way. Jason's writing style really makes you feel as though you're in the story living the characters' lives with them. You feel their love, pain and losses like you had experienced it all firsthand.
This might possibly be my favorite of The Wandering Star series. They are all amazing but this last one is filled with what I refer to as "ah-ha" moments. These are the times when you're reading and you discover that the scene you are experiencing directly ties into something you're familiar with. This work of art is filled with those moments, and those moments make for some of the best experiences as reader, in my opinion.
No one could have done this series better than Jason Tesar. It's not completely Jason's fault, but I now struggle to read anything other than his work. I often find myself downloading a book then tossing it aside before I even manage to get half way through it. Most books seem lackluster and unimaginative by these standards. It's probably not fair to the other authors, as their work is still quite good, but it just doesn't stack up and always seems to be missing something. I'm just waiting for the day when Jason's stories are turned into a TV series or movie collection.
Congratulations on finishing the series and I look forward to the next installment of The Awakened.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2020Masterful story-telling tying Humanity’s cultural beliefs into this Epic story. You must read the Awakened series first. This one brings the entire Epic full circle. I am so happy to have stumbled across this author, Jason Tesar. Jason, please finish the final book in “The Awakened” series. I am biting at the bit to know the fate of Sariel, Kael, and humanity after the merging of the worlds. If you could get a movie producer behind your stories, they would rival Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2017I gave this book five stars because it was one of those books you can not put down
It's also was the final book in the Wandering Stars series which I loved. I am really looking forward to book seven in the Awakened series. Great work on all levels. Mr Tesar is in the top three of my favorite author's.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021Wonderful imagination! As a student of the Bible, I was intrigued by the similarities, and sometimes scary parralels. It's like a scary movie version. Good job! Thank you!

I've read all of Jason Tesar's fiction. True to form I couldn't put this book down. As the final prequel to "The Awakened" series, the story comes full circle. "The Wandering Stars" is a masterpiece in it's own right.
