The Rolling Stones celebrated their golden anniversary in 2012 and 2013 by embarking on the 50 & Counting Tour, a 30-show itinerary for North America and Europe. On December 15, 2012, the band took the stage at Newark, New Jersey's Prudential Center for the final of 4 shows in the New York area. Featuring guest spots from The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr., Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, and Mick Taylor, the concert proved to be one of the most memorable shows in the band's history.

    The Stones have released videos from most of their tours over the past 20 or so years. This may top all of them. The performance is outstanding, and Ron Wood is en Fuego throughout - in fact, everybody is. This was a great night for the Stones. Both the CD and Blu Ray have been mastered with great care and respect.

    This is from their 50th anniversary tour, and features some guest artists who are matched with the perfect songs.

    Highlight for me is "Midnight Rambler" featuring the return of Mick Taylor. Another one is John Mayer's solo during "I'm Going Down."

    My best of three Stones concert videos on Blue Ray. The guest appearances are special. The track list is close to perfect (no Angie sadly) and the camera work in high definition is enveloping. I had to push the volume of the Atmos offering up there but it rewards with a crisp and clear delivery.

    Je n'ai plus manqué un seul concert des Stones en Belgique et en France depuis 1973 inclus. C'est mon groupe de cœur depuis 1962. De là à vous donner mon âge, il y a une marche que je ne franchirai pas. J'ai vu des concerts exceptionnels des Stones évalués à 20/20 selon mes critères.
    Je ne démolirai bien sûr jamais le groupe que j'emmènerai en version vinyle dans mon cercueil. Je ne louerai pas non plus ses qualités car elles sont connus de tous.

    Je me contenterai de qualifier le blu-ray de meilleure production du groupe. Pour une des rares fois, le marketing des Stones a oublié (sauf pour le blu-ray Sticky Fingers from the vault) de nous arnaquer. Le son et l'image sont comme le groupe: Somptueux. Rien à redire la dessus. J'ai la chance d'avoir une smart TV d'1M80 de large et une barre Yamaha YSP2700. Les premiers accords m'ont scotchés. J'étais en concert ! Une place à 1500$ dans la bague en forme de langue (CF les scènes 2005 de U2) mais dans mon fauteuil.

    Bitte beachten, das Konzert ist von 2012 und nicht von 2023 zum Erscheinen dieser 3er Box. Das steht zwar auch in der Beschreibung, kann aber von dem einen oder andern schnell überlesen werden.
