About this ebook

I didn’t know I’d risk everything to be with him.

I thought he was the assistant football coach.

I thought I would protect my teaching career from anything.

I thought I could stay away from him.

I thought wrong.

Hot, spicy, emotional and a bit naughty this book was a wonderful, tempting treat. Eden and Mace's story was a simply delicious read. Once the seeds of attraction are sown, there is no putting out the fire that burns between these two. With a solid, totally believable plot that is filled with deep, intense emotions, compelling characters and sizzling chemistry this book captured my attention from the very first chapter. Eden was so likable. Her struggle with her feelings for Mace, the hurts from her past and the urge to give in to temptation was poignant and powerful. Mace, was likable too but he did start out about like you would expect. Cocky, smirky, the big man of the school and the football field but as he pursues Eden and the layers are peeled back, you learn there is so much more to him. A really great forbidden romance that has drama, emotional turmoil, sweetness, heartache, passion, humor and twists.

Amazing and super hot. I love R.L Kenderson and even though this is not a typical story line for me, I was so excited to read the book. The little teasers posted on Facebook made me wait with anticipation. I got this book a few hours ago and could not put it down. The book was sweet and super steamy, I am so in love with Mason and I never saw myself attracted to a younger guy. This book was really good and I'm so glad that not one part felt creepy or wrong. This storyline was done well. Cant wait for more legal and slightly taboo stories from this author.

I'm not really a fan of teacher/student stories but I wanted to give this one a try because I love the writers, and it didn't disappoint me! Eden is just starting her teaching career in a new school when he meets Mace, who she thinks is a colleague. So she gets a really big surprise the first day of class when she discovers that Mace is one of her new students! I think the relation between both of them goes quite smoothly, the writers don't rush it which I appreciate because I don't think it would have been believable, and it has it's ups and downs like a relation in this circumstances would have. Can't wait for more books of R.L. Kenderson! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

About the author

R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name.

Renae has always loved reading, and in third grade, she wrote her first poem where she learned she might have a knack for this writing thing. Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them, and since then, she knew she wanted to write her own.

When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own.

One lives in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and the other in the Kansas City area where they’re a sonographer/stay-at-home mom/wife and pharmacist/mother by day, and together they’re a sexy author by night. They communicate through phone, email, and whole lot of messaging.
