Roberto Carlos had not performed in the U.S. for a decade. Returning to perform at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami (formerly: Carnival Center for The Performing Arts). Roberto Carlos performed two shows produced by Day 1 Entertainment; the incomparably talented singer and songwriter, backed up by his band E Coral, once again demonstrated why he has sold over 100 million records worldwide.

On the second night of "Roberto Carlos en Concierto," the performance was recorded for what will become Roberto Carlos' fi rst DVD ever in Spanish! Delighting the audience at the sold-out theater with classics such as `Emociones,' `Desahogo,' `El Día Que Me Quieras' and `Amigo,' among others. At the end of the concert, and after a standing ovation, Roberto Carlos came back and performed to three encores as a gesture of gratitude to his loyal fans and audience.

Portuguese-speaking fans and lovers of Roberto Carlos' songs in his native language were also acknowledged with the song `Acrostico.' This "Live" performance will delight all fans of Roberto Carlos for many years to come.

    Okay, what can I say- I am and have been a Roberto Carlos fan for over ten years. I'm old school.

    Look - this is the live stuff, and it's even better! This album is in Spanish, and since I've been learning Spanish for the last year, Roberto is a great way to help you learn, because the lyrics are slow and beautiful, and you can understand what he's singing.

    But that aside, I can listen to the whole album again and again now, and it's always fantastic. My favorite song: Amigo.

    C'mon - you know you love it. If you don't please look up the lyrics in English, and THEN listen to Amigo!

    This is a great Brazilian Musician and if you love Spanish and Portuguese, this is the Best Singer. I know him since I was a little child.     I am a huge Roberto Carlos fan since i was a child.I learned about him from family who had his albums and played them all the time and my parents used to watch Spanish Italian music shows which Roberto was always a guest on .I have family in Europe and Brazil so i would always get new music by Roberto and other Latin artists whenever they visited me as well. Roberto has sung songs in a lot of languages Spanish Italian French and his native tongue being from Brazil.he recorded in a lot of various styles pop rock folk gospel etc. I love this album because a lot of the songs are acoustic guitar or piano and as a singer songwriter guitar player myself I love folk acoustic music.in this concert Roberto sounds as good as ever and the songs sound fresh since a lot of his music was recorded in the 1970's-80's and sound old on record .and sound more modern at this show .his singing sounds a lot like Frank Sinatra on the ballads in his crooning style.my favorite songs include Amada Amante Amigo Un Gato Jesus Cristo Detalles this concert has most of his greatest hits I reccomended this album to any Roberto fans or anyone who wants to listen to great Latin music he is one of the best!

    I was fortunate to see this show in which he recorded this live CD. It was a great show. I am from Massachusetts and specifically traveled to Miami to see RC. He did not disappoint. He’s my favorite singer. A true superstar and an amazing singer.

    I cannot tell you the number of times I have heard a woman say, "Julio Iglesias can put his shoes under my bed anytime!" Unquestionably, Julio Iglesias has brought Latin music to the American consciousness like no other artist. But having been a fan of Roberto Carlos for nearly twenty years, I cannot begin to tell you the excitement and passionate adoration this wonderful tenor creates and especially among women! It is a great pity that in the United States he has not had the exposure or success of Julio Iglesias.

    I was fortunate enough to see Roberto Carlos perform in Atlantic City a decade ago. That concert was tremendous and the crowd enthusiasm was similar to what you actually hear on this disc. I could wish for other great hits (En Serio, La Ventana, etc. etc.) to have been sung during this concert in Miami, but all the songs recorded here are outstanding. At sixty five at the time of this concert, his voice shows little sign of aging.

    This is a great CD! You do not even have to know Spanish to appreciate the expressiveness and Latin soul of these songs. To hear him sing, you will quickly understand why any women admirer of his would not only give her body to him but also... her heart and soul.

    I was unable to get tickets for this concert because it was sold out. Thanks to this dvd I was able to enjoy it from the comfort of my home. As usual, Roberto Carlos sang his popular songs with the romantic feeling he is well known for.
