- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 November 2014As a 5 year old and hearing "Bohemian Rhapsody" for the first time my life changed and all for the better, before that sound and music had no meaning and why would it being a little child but 39 years later and i'm still the biggest of Queens fans with every album and large amount of singles owned apart from the Queen & Paul Rogers era.
It was great to see the new track if old in scope "Let me into your heart again" a long time coming which we probably never thought we would see and of course the interesting "There must be more to life than this" features the voice talents of Legendary Michael Jackson which compares very well with Freddie's original version. Just hearing Michael sing on this track the first time gave me goose bumps, as Queen fans we knew that Michael and Freddie had sang together and possibly more to come from this get together and then the new version of "Love Kills" which is totally stripped back and sounds great and Freddie's vocal is just sublime.
As a collection it shows the great range of music which probably most casual listeners would have no idea about, for the rest of us we have heard them all before both on the studio albums and greatest hits collections as well but having them remastered really does bring them out as they were intended to be heard. Some of the remastering is quite incredible more so on the older tracks which you will notice more such as "Sail away sweet sister" which is a great Brain May song but can clearly hear some improvements.
To sum up this collection shouldn't be considered a greatest hits collection, sure it has some great tracks that you will know and remember but some also equally impressive alternatives which is great to share with people and hopefully will bring a whole new generation to love "Queen" all over again, a great collection and technically of the highest standard and with the new tracks collectors will absolutely love and i for one will treasure this "Forever"

Images in this review - Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 April 2015I love Queen - the best band on earth for me, and always will be. But I'm not a Queen anorak. I see a lot of self righteous indignation in the one star reviews, about Brian and Roger 'milking the corpse of their dead friend', moaning because there isn't a 'theme' to the album and wanting obscure tracks from the 'Smile' days. Fine, they are entitled to their opinion.
Call me gullible, but I am sure Brian and Roger - and John Deacon come to that although he isn't involved any more - still love and miss Freddie, and respect his memory. I have a fair few Queen albums, but I still love this one. I don't care that much that it isn't full of entirely new tracks - what I do like is that there is a nice sprinkling of older tracks like 'Love of My Life' and 'In the Lap of the Gods', which I hadn't heard for a while and had forgotten just how great they were, along with poignant favourites like 'Who Wants to Live For Ever', 'Love Kills' and 'Days of Our Lives'. Unlike the anoraks I think it's a good mix - maybe could have done without Michael Jackson - but, played full blast in the car there's plenty to make me cry one minute and have my spirit soaring away with Brian May's sublime guitar the next. I particularly love 'Don't Try Too Hard'. Yes, there may be a gazillion other tracks they could or arguably should have included - but 36, come on, surely that's value for money?
For those who aren't familiar with Queen's music (if there is anybody), or think maybe they are past history, listening to this would put that right. Still rocking, still breaking your heart, still the greatest. Nice cover pic too by the way.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 November 2014Absolutely fantastic! Listened to first three new song about 5 times before I moved onto the rest of the cds. That second play of Let me in your heart again made my hairs stand on end on hearing Freddie's high end vocals.too many negative reviews on this song.this was never completed and basically recorded in bits in which they masterfully engineered into a song you cant get out of your head.best song out of the threenew ones.love kills is as good as all other versions you wont be disappointed. There must be more to life than this is a brilliant song.Michaels vocals could be done with being more louder.we bit disappointed on solo thought this would have been more like the miracle .but great none the less.clarity of all other tracks is superb hearing things if never heard before.the claps on Crazy little thing called love stands out , ill need to listen to my orginals to spot all the differences some not so obvious but ill ill have plenty fun going back in forward.Freddies highlander version of who wants to live forever should have been on hear and maybe of put in some 12" versions of the songs that have already been on the greatest hit albums.but this is well worth the money in my book .
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 February 2015I am a Queen fan...always have been but a part of me can't help thinking this album is just another money spinning idea. The three new tracks are nothing special and all the rest are on their previous albums and thus it is only of interest to the avid collector or someone who does not know the band that well and their 'lesser' works. But, it's Queen, so you know what you're getting.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 27 January 2024If you like Queen, this is a great cd with a good selection of songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buen recopilatorio.
Lo compre principalmente por los 3 temas ineditos. Buen recopilatorio, con canciones menos conocidas q los Greatest Hits, es un complemento perfecto de estos.
