The was sent in a soft bubble wrap envelope. Apparently the package was crushed or otherwise mishandled on its way to me, two of the three cds had cracked cases.I assume the discs are still playable, but still disappointing to receive damaged merchandise that otherwise would not have bought if I had walked into a traditional record store.Regardless, Sterling’s music is great.Would definitely buy future albums, but maybe not from Amazon.

    I cannot fathom how amazing I feel putting in her CD into my car radio and blasting Transcendence and Crystallize. I usually listen to screamo, soft rock, 90's music and that's usually it. I started listening to Kina Grannis and tried finding more original people who do music FOR music. I really tire of hearing repeated radio music and the same style of music on every station. Even if it's a different type; it's always unoriginal. I first heard of Lindsey Stirling a few years ago, been watching her music videos for a long time and usually just play YouTube or Spotify but I really want to support the artist more, I wanted to buy her album and listen to every detail.

    I love her music, it always makes me feel good, I have anxiety - not just your normal person anxiety either. I have a high-stress job in which I travel a lot and do IT support for 14 campuses all across California. I don't travel without Lindsey Stirling's songs and I will be buying all her albums/music for years to come. This is one of the first times I enjoyed EVERY song rather than just a few. Of course I have my own favorites but they're all songs I can listen to without turning to the next track. It's feel-good music, it's inspiring and it always gets my blood pumping.

    If I could meet her, I would say this; "Thank you for the hard work, the sleepless nights, the stressful days of composing, of writing and of training for years and last but not least - for having the dedication and passion to create this because pure audio ecstasy is hard to find and by God almighty, your music showcases all of that. Thank you for making my days better through music".

    Also some people look at me weird when they see/hear me listening to Lindsey and to them I say; "Music has no race, gender, no specific personality it caters to - music is tranquility".

    Lindsey's appeal transcends so many different genres that this is an album that literally everyone should own. This self-titled debut remains her best overall work to date. The two follow ups to this are must haves as well, but I'm partial to this one because 100% of the song writing here is technically hers, and as talented as she is when it comes to dance and violin playing, she is most brilliant when she writes. Each and every one of these masterpieces is so catchy that you'll remember the melody to them for the rest of your life just by listening once. Lindsey is also someone every aspiring musician should look to and take notes when it comes to putting together world class music videos on a budget. Videos like Shadows and Crystallize are some of the best things ever to happen to YouTube. The precision, tone and speed of her playing these beautiful, indelible and intricate riffs cannot be understated here. She's Hillary Hahn by pop music standards. So rare to hear such genuine instrumental talent on a pop album. Usually the real talent in this genre lies in the engineering but I've got good news as far as that goes too. Kudos also to AFSHeeN and Marko G for the excellent production work heard here. Lindsey, who is by all accounts a class act of a person that you can't help but route for, will continue and has continued to go on to do great things (I'm a half hour away from finding out which Lindsey took home the Mirrored ball from this season's Dancing with The Stars at the time of this writing) but she has already permanently secured her legacy with this album.
