    Jack and Joe is my favorite from the Hunt for Jack Reacher series to date; and this series is by far the best addition to Lee Child's Reacher universe.

    This book revisits "The Enemy" by Lee Child. Diane Capri manages to fluidly incorporate all of the characters from that story (from so early in Reacher's life) giving us a very plausible and entertaining "where they are now" while incorporating them into Agents Otto and Gaspar's investigation.

    While hunting for Reacher, the agents find themselves amidst two seemingly unrelated murder investigations and a military corruption case that could potentially disgrace the Army. The only thing tying all of the events and people together is that they all have had their lives affected by Jack Reacher. But could Jack really be pulling all the strings?

    Reading Diane Capri's stories, which portray Reacher's exploits from the periphery, is so much fun. The characters of both Diane Capri's creation and Lee Child's, are woven together so masterfully, and the story of "The Enemy" is expanded upon so creatively that this really could read as "The Enemy 2." Otto and Gaspar are such great characters, I just can't help but ask for a substantive meeting between them and Reacher, sooner rather than later. Ditto on the next Hunt for Jack Reacher story.

    The Hunt for Jack Reacher series is a must read for any fan of the Reacher Universe.

    This novel in the series contains a lot of good twists and turns. The reader starts with Otto, alone. We learn a great deal about how her mind works. Gaspar shows up, and the story telling continues to entertain the reader.
