Inhabitation: Wandering Stars Volume Three Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 130 ratings

The true architect of Earth’s inhabitation has been revealed. As power and authority are consolidated into a new kingdom, allies become enemies and enemies become friends.

Sariel’s vengeance is complete, but his sacrifice is greater than he could have imagined. Weakened beyond sanity and hunted by a dangerous new predator, Sariel must rely on his oldest nemesis in order to survive. The testing of his loyalty will uncover a new strategy, leading him back into the center of a multisided war. The influence of the Myndarym is swelling, flowing across the land, driving cultures into the future or crushing them under its weight. But when the violence reaches into the depths of the sea, it awakens a powerful and forgotten realm. Angel. Demon. Nephiyl. Human. The battle lines are drawn, and before it’s over, the world will never be the same.

In Volume Three of the Wandering Stars series, Jason Tesar’s fantasy epic engulfs the earth in a clash of temporal kingdoms and eternal civilizations, peeling back the layers of primordial history to expose its supernatural origins.

About the Author

The third of four children and an introvert from the start, Jason Tesar grew up as an imaginative "middle child" who enjoyed the make-believe world as much as the real one, possibly more. From adolescence to adulthood, his imagination fed itself on a diet of books, movies, and art, all the while growing and maturing--waiting for its opportunity. Then, during a procession of monotonous, physically laborious day-jobs, his imagination leaped into motion, bringing together characters and locations of a world that would someday come to life on the pages of a book. In late 1998, Jason made his first attempt at writing, managing to complete a whole scene before returning once again to reality. A year and a half later, a spontaneous night-time conversation with his wife encouraged him to take his writing seriously and to keep on dreaming. Over the next seven years, Jason carved time out of the real world to live in an imaginary one of epic fantasy, science-fiction, and military/political conflict. The fruits of this labor would later become the first three books of the bestselling AWAKENED series. Due to the overwhelming support of readers around the world, Jason has continued his trajectory into make-believe, recently jumping from stable employment in the micro-electronics industry into the mysterious abyss of full-time writing. Living in Colorado with his beautiful wife and two children, Jason now spends the majority of his time fusing the best parts of his favorite genres into stories of internal struggle and triumph, friendship, betrayal, political alliances, and military conflict. His fast-paced stories span ancient and future worlds, weaving together threads of stirring drama and intense action that provoke reader comments such as, "I couldn't put it down," and "I'll read anything he writes."

I'm impressed yet again by the imagination and story telling of Jason Tesar. Inhabitation picks up where Manifestation left off, with Sariel's decision to be inhabited. The story flows seamlessly from beginning to end. It takes great imagination to take a time frame from history, for which very little is known, and turn it into an amazing story. Jason's ability to describe the scenes and the depth of character development will draw you in and keep you reading.
Sariel's experiences through Inhabitation give depth and understanding to his character in "The Awakened" series. I can fully appreciate the importance of completing "Wandering Stars" before completing "The Awakened."

I've been a fan of Jason Tesar for quite a few years now, and the Wandering Star series is a really great prequel to his Awakened series. It explains things that were not approached in the Awakened series. The Awakened series is my favorite book series that I've ever read and I wish that he would be able to complete that series, even if I have to wait 20 years!

The corruption and manipulation goes deeper with this, the third volume of The Wandering Stars. Book three continues the story of our beloved and meek Myndarym from the first volumes (Incarnation and Manifestation). Now that they are inhabited they're no longer the defenseless angels we'd felt bad for and worried about their safety. Not only have the Myndarym taken on a new roll but, you'll also find yourself questioning your allegiances in this masterfully crafted tale that brings back some old enemies you so recently despised. The Myndarym's plans to rule the Temporal realm leads to a world altering scheme with cataclysmic results, threatening to cause you to fall face first off the edge of your seat as the suspense builds.
When it comes to world building, no one does it better than Jason Tesar. This story covers every inch and all aspects of the globe including land, sky and sea on a journey that will leave you craving more. I can't even fathom how this prequel can be wrapped up in just one more book. The twists and turns that will bring Sariel to Kael's present time could be potentially endless, making this series anything but predictable. So prepare yourself for more sleepless nights as you dive back into the world of The Wandering Stars.

This book shows the level of thought and detail that went into this epic saga. I am invested in this story and especially in Sariel's character. This book brings you along his path and his choices, and the result of those choices in a most unexpected way and gives meaning to the Awakened books. Another great book Jason Tesar!

I've read all six of the Awakened books, and have just finished four Wandering Stars books, as a sort of a Prequel to the first set (Awakened). I have really enjoyed these books, and can't wait until he writes more of the Awakened set (fingers-crossed).

I would recommend these books ... and I would also recommend getting acquainted with the glossary (and maps) beforehand, or as you go along. There are many categories of characters, as well as places to understand and keep track of.

I have a fascination with angels ... and these books approached the subject in a way that I hadn't thought much about. I have enjoyed the experience. (Thanks Mr. Tesar)

The author takes the very old testament and fills in the blanks. He does a good job at this, but the characters are not fully fleshed out. I don't feel anything for any of them. Even the main character Sariel seems lacking in depth. As with the old testament itself, the books are depressing. God is very much not involved with "his" people as they are subjugated by fallen angels both benign and malevolent and their spawn.

At the end of this book the author does do a good job of explaining the loss of Eden, and how The Flood could have happened. There are some good, and exciting chapters, yet the overall plot seems plodding. Perhaps this is due to the story being based on the Bible; I know how it's going to end. I cannot decide whether it's worth continuing.

Absolutely loved the Awakened and am looking forward to Jason completing the story. I have found all of the Angels a bit more hard going. Very clever parallels being drawn throughout the entire sequence of books with Bible stories.
