Round One

May 19, 2021 at 10am PT to May 20, 10 am PT

Go to Twitter and reply to the release tweet shared by Miquela’s official handle. To be a valid entry, your tweet must contain:

your ethereum wallet address (no vanity .eth addresses), and
Your vote for either #PRESENT or #FUTURE. You may only vote for one (and only one) of the options presented by Miquela in her tweet.

During the Round One Promotional Period, all Sweepstakes entries meeting the requirements of these rules will be entered into the prize drawing.

Ten (10) entries will be selected: each winner will receive one (1) NFT.

Round Two

May 24, 2021 at 10am PT to May 25, 10 am PT

Go to Twitter and reply directly to the release tweet shared by Miquela. To be a valid entry, your tweet must contain:

your ethereum wallet address (no vanity .eth addresses), and
Your vote for either #LOVE or #MONEY. You may only vote for one (and only one) of the options presented by Miquela in her tweet.

During the Round Two Promotional Period, all Sweepstakes entries meeting the requirements of these rules will be entered into the prize drawing.

Ten (10) entries will be selected: each winner will receive one (1) NFT.

Round Three

May 26th, 2021 from 10am PT to 6pm PT

Go to Twitter and reply directly to the release tweet shared by Miquela. To be a valid entry, your tweet must contain:

your ethereum wallet address (no vanity .eth addresses)

Starting at 11am PST, and at the top of each hour during the Round Three Promotional Period, all Sweepstakes entries meeting the requirements of these rules will be entered into a separate prize drawing.

Ten (10) winners will be selected every hour, from among all eligible entries received, resulting in a total of eighty (80) winners chosen. Each winner will receive one (1) NFT.

Rules for All Three Rounds

To be a valid entry, your tweet must follow these rules:
• You must reply directly to Miquela’s tweet for the Round you wish to participate in.

• Your twitter account used to enter must be public.
• When providing your ethereum wallet address in your Tweet, you must use a traditional wallet address (string of letters and numbers) such as Metamask and other ethereum wallets that support NFTs. Any type of abbreviation or “vanity” domain, like miquela.eth, is not allowed.
• To minimize any potential confusion or your entry being rejected, we advise only replying with your ethereum address, your answer (as applicable), and no other characters. Example tweet - “@lilmiquela (insert wallet address), (your answer)”
• You may not share your address before or after the Submission Window, by randomly mentioning Miquela, or by sending her direct messages.

The drawings will be conducted either by independent persons or a computer program that randomly chooses the winner, from all eligible entries received, and the random selection is final and binding.

Once all 100 winners have been selected, the airdrop process will begin. This means that the NFT is on its way to your wallet. This distribution process may take up to three days, meaning it will not show up in your wallet immediately. We know that three days can feel like an eternity, but that allows us to make sure that no mistakes are made. Again, please be patient - if you were tagged as a recipient, rest assured that the NFT is on its way.

If you enter any round, we will collect your address and Twitter username and use it according to our Privacy Policy. By replying to Miquela’s tweet, you agree we may contact you at that Twitter username in the future, including for our marketing purposes.

// How To View Your NFT

Once the NFT is distributed to the 100 confirmed and validated recipients, you have a few options for how to view the NFT that is in your wallet. Here’s a step-by-step video that Miquela made, but if text is more your thing then keep on reading below.

One of the simplest ways is by visiting OpenSea and signing in using your Metamask extension. OpenSea is a decentralized marketplace for showcasing, buying, and selling NFTs that is easy to use. You can learn more about OpenSea in this overview.

When you sign in, the OpenSea website connects to your Metamask browser extension and verifies that you’re the owner of your Ethereum wallet. Once you’ve signed in, your browser will refresh and show your Account Page where you’ll be able to see your new NFT!

What is an NFT?

NFT stands for non-fungible token. A non-fungible token is a unit of data on a digital ledger called a blockchain, where each NFT can represent a unique digital item, and thus they are not interchangeable. They act as a non-duplicable digital certificate of ownership for any assigned digital asset. Basically, it is a smart contract that is put together using bits of open source code and used to secure that digital item. NFTs can represent digital files such as art, audio, videos, items in video games and other forms of creative work.

Is Miquela releasing more NFTs soon? Or is this just a one time thing?

Oh, so this is a big deal. What is the purpose of this NFT series?

Each NFT in this series serves as a piece to a larger puzzle. Each piece will work together to tell a special story over time. The only way to access the story before anyone else is to own each NFT and connect them together along the way. There’s a lot more to it, but you’ll have to collect the NFTs for all of that :)

Blockchains are used for recording transactions made with cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, and have many other applications.

What is a crypto wallet?

A secure digital wallet used to store your private keys, keeping your crypto safe and accessible. They also allow you to send, receive, and spend cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

What does airdropping mean in the context of an NFT?

An airdrop is a distribution of a cryptocurrency token or asset, usually for free, to numerous wallet addresses.
