Hater is the Seattle-grown sound created by Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron of Soundgarden, along with John McBain of Monster Magnet, John Waterman, and Brian Wood. Recorded in 1992 - after Soundgarden wrapped their Badmotorfinger tour but before pre-production started for Superunknown - Matt and Ben decided to make an album with their friends under the name Hater. Unlike Soundgarden, Hater had more garage and classic rock influences.

This is a very good record that contains two really outstanding songs: Mona Bone Jakon (a Cat Stevens cover!) and Tot Finder. Dig this Grunge-rock side project up and you will not be disappointed.Whatever happened to Brian Wood?
worth price of admission for this song alone. this is however a pretty wonderful record and as far as the various soundgarden folks 'other bands' this is my personal fave. sorry.
Any remnants of Soundgarden has to be great. This cd has undertones of what I believe is the greatest band ever.I hope to see them together again if only for one concert.
Elite digital states that it is the best source for hard to find items, which is precisely what they did in securing a particularly obscure CD. The seller was very proactive in updating me on its delivery process, and the package arrived in perfect condition. All in all, the seller has managed to exceed my expectations, and I do not hesitate to recommend them to others. The CD is also pretty good.
