Resolution: Good Text Kindle Edition
I’m Cecily Spangler, geek. I snark. I draw. I huddle in my shell like a turtle. Nobody has ever heard of me.
Do I need to spell out how wrong we are for each other?
Luckily, I’m done with fantasies of celebrities I have no hope of ever meeting. On New Year’s Eve, I resolve to flirt with the nerdy guy I’ve been crushing on over on my favorite forum. I know nothing about him, but I just have this feeling we have a lot in common.
And then, joy of joys, he messages me back. Before I know it, I’m in deeper than I ever expected. The connection between us SIZZLES. I only hope that if we ever meet in person, I’ll live up to his imaginings.
One small problem: he just sent me a text. He wants to meet me. Now.
I figure the worst that can happen is that we have no chemistry, right?
Wrong...because there's a lot more to this nerd than I ever dreamed...
A cute, laugh-out-loud, happy romcom.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2019Cecily & Rafail's (Tank) story was fantastic. I love a good geeky love story. Their interactions made me smile. It made me fondly reminisce on being the nerdy girl with big crushes on a celebrity. When a book can make you remember something from your past & smile. That ones a keeper for sure. Huge smile on my face when Cecily & Tank got their HEA. In case you're wondering, I got my HEA just different so I'm happy with life. Great read. Definitely recommend.
A Resolution Pact Short Story - These are a collaboration of authors bringing us short, sweet, sexy stories to give us Oooh's and Ahh's that make our hearts & panties melt in celebration of the New Year. I'm in love with these short story collaborations & am excited each time a new set is released.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2019Sometimes you are just in the mood to read a short story and after reading the blurb of this story, I was very intrigued by it. And after reading it, I can say that it was a fun and entertaining read.
It may be a short story but it certainly had everything in it that I like in my story. The fact that it was about a nerd, is a plus for me. I like ‘nerd’ stories and Cecily was definitely one. The story is told from Cecily’s POV. Although I had a huge suspicion from the very beginning, who the mysterious nerdy guy could be, I found the story still fascinating to read. It was fun to see how Cecily was reacting to the nerdy guy comments and suggestions.
If you’re looking for a quick read, this story is certainly a good choice for it.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 14, 2019What can I say? This story started off at a steady pace but quickly got to a story that in today’s online chat forum world, it utterly believable. Cecily is a chunky, geeky artist who idolizes a swimmer and lives in a world where she wants love and to connect with people while lusting over swimming celebrity Rafail. She has friends in the forum and eventually makes a resolution to actually befriend one. Little did she know; her reality was about to change regarding who she wanted and who she thought she wanted all from one conversation. It’s a short sweet read, and I think that I will look for other short stories by this author.

This story wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed it but had a few issues the first being how obsessed Cecily was with Rafail. I don’t know how he could fall for someone who was so obsessed with him. There are sweet moments and I enjoyed their conversations. I wished we got Rafail’s POV. Rafail May have been hiding his identity but he was honest about most his life including his love life, I appreciated that. Megan was understandably upset when the truth was revealed but I completely understand why he did it, I would have too. I also wish there was a longer epilogue. I love epilogues.
Safety and Spoilers
Completely safe. No ow/om drama. H has been celibate for a bit but admits to being with a lot of women, h has also been celibate for a while. No abuse.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2019That was awesome fun. Even though i knew where the trip was going, watching the destination approach was considerably more fun than i thought it would be. The silliness, the self-discovery, the fantasy vs reality. Just say yes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!
Well, this was a surprisingly fantastic book. It is the only Deana Farrady book I have read and the only book she has done for the Flirt Club (unless she has written under another pen name, which I know a lot of them do?) It’s such a shame if she hasn’t as I think this is one of the best Flirt Club books I have read!
It was such a lovely slow-burn romance. The texting and messaging between Cecily and Tank were really hesitant and real, to begin with, it then blossoming to be so much more. I did guess the twist but that just added to the anticipation a little to see if I was right!
The book had the most suitable and ideal ending, no cliches, just perfect!
The whole premise and layout of the book were different from most of the others I’ve read. They develop an attraction based solely on personality and not looks. This was a very refreshing take and made the story more realistic and relatable.
A brilliant book, I will have to hunt down some more of Deana Farrdy’s books, as I believe she has written more just not for the Flirt Club.

4.0 out of 5 stars Meant To Be
Cecily Spangler a self proclaimed geek who loves to draw and be a hermit.
Rafail Slutsky (tank) is an Olympic medalist who has had loads of women, however he wants the real thing.
On NYE Cecily reaches out to Tank through an art forum they are both members of and this starts months of texting and conversation. Will they finally get the courage to meet each other.
