- Show Me The Way -
Show Me the Way is about two broken characters, Rex and Rynna, who have been burned in the past and have a hard time trusting people, especially Rex does not want to open up and trust new women. Fortunately, Rynna was more open and went out of her way to live her life and not let the past dictate her future. That doesn't mean she isn't careful. When Rynna first met Rex, he was very rude to her. His daughter, Frankie Leigh is his world and he has no place for anyone else in his life, especially women.
Rex and Rynna both feel the attraction between them, but Rex is not keen on acting on it. On the other hand, Rynna does want to explore this feeling. Rex definitely didn't make it easy on Rynna for her to get to know him. However, piece by piece she chips away at the wall he built around his heart. I have a soft spot for single dads so I really loved how protective Rex was of his beautiful and cute daughter. Show Me the Way is a very entertaining, but also emotional contemporary romance. The sex scenes were very hot and I loved them.

- Follow Me Back -
Follow Me Back is the second book in the Fight for Me series. In this book we have Kale, who still lives in the past and doesn't want to love again. Hope, hasn't had an easy life as well, and is still struggling and has put her life on hold. The moment these two meet the sparks fly and they feel a very strong attraction to each other. However, Hope doesn't have room for a man in her life and shuts Kale's advances down. Both of them think it's for the best because they don't have time for complications. However, the pull between them is strong and they eventually can't resist one another.
Overall, I think Follow Me Back was a nice contemporary romance with a couple of twists. However, there were some things that annoyed me, in particular Kale. Some of his actions felt very selfish and kind of broke my heart as well. I wanted him to man up and to follow his feelings. I loved Hope, she was a very strong woman who would do anything for her loved ones, and there is no line she wouldn't cross. I think the balance between romance, suspense, and heartbreak was just right.

- Lead Me Home -
Nikki, has been in love with Ollie since forever, however, after the disappearance of Ollie's sister, he has been closed off to any woman. He doesn't feel like he deserves to move on and be happy, so he keeps his distance from her. Nikki, continues to love him from afar and tries to be satisfied with being just friends. Even though Ollie keeps his distance, he still is aware of Nikki. He always watches and protects her whenever he feels like she needs it. After blaming himself for not taking care of his sister, he doesn't wants to fail Nikki. The attraction is there, and at moments Ollie is weak and can't resist the pull towards her. She doesn't wants to be involved if she can't have all of him. I loved that Nikki stood her ground and had her limits. She doesn't want to be used by him whenever he needs her.
Lead Me Home is my favorite in the Fight for Me series. I loved that there was a bit of mystery/suspense aspect to the story, and I thought it was done really well by the author. I hope she will write more suspenseful books. I also loved that she included flashbacks to when Ollie and Nikki met, and the strong bond they had from the start. This book also had a couple of very emotional moments, which I read teary-eyed. It was also great seeing what all the previous couples were up to.

A must read small town swoon fest that checks all the boxes!! You need to dive in and binge this one!!

Show Me the Way
(Fight for Me #1)

'Maybe I'd known it then. That this girl would wreck me. Because I could feel myself coming apart piece by piece."

Wow.....no one does the feels like this Author. Poetically romantic, it just blows you away how beautifully written it is. Completely enchanting, Rex and Rynna meet by chance, and even though there's no denying it, they have to overcome a whole mountain worth of obstacles to get where they can trust enough to take a chance on each other. When you read it entirety, you will be blown away at just how much they go through....The twists make the pages go quickly, as you demand to find it all out, as it culminates into an unbelievable conclusion!

Follow Me Back
(Fight for Me #2)
"He looked like discord. Chaos with an easy arrogant smile. A perfect, controlled disorder."

This book broke my heart, shattered it into tiny little pieces, and swept them all up and put them back together!! Heart bursting beauty, unexpected twists, and a couple hot enough to scorch my kindle!! It had it all!! Adore the characters, the series, and all the words!!

Lead Me Home
(Fight for Me #3)

"The door has always been open, Ollie. Always. You just had to make the choice to walk in."

"Only if you let me stay forever."

Gaahhhhh, the swoons!!! Ollie has been an enigma throughout the series, the dark, broody bartender with a tragic past only hinted at, but never fully mentioned. The dance between these two was both sultry and addictive, yet maddening as all get out. The push, the pull, the attraction undeniable. The back story gut wrenching, yet it all turned out with a beautiful message!!

Fight For Me Box Set 1-3 by A.L. Jackson contains all three novels in this series.
Show Me The Way by AL Jackson is the first stand-alone romance novel in the Fight for Me Series.
This is Rex and Rynna´s book.
Rex Gunner is a successful construction company owner. He´s a single dad who´s wife left him. He´s bitter, cynical, harsh, rough, raw, unpolished and much, much more. Did I mention he´s bitter? Yes he is , and he´s gorgeous. Every woman in her right kind of mind makes a big bow around him. Not so Rynna.
Rynna left her home town eleven years ago, and now she´s back to re-open her grandmother´s diner. One look and she´s smitten. He pushes her away, but she doesn´t give up on him.
And there´s this adorable little girl, Frankie Leigh. She´s the sweetest sidekick you can think of.
It takes Rex one look at Rynna and he´s hooked. But he fights his attraction to her toth and nail.
But the heart wants what the heart wants. Show Me The Way is a epic love story with twists and very unexpected turns.

Favorite Quote: " All moments matter. We just rarely know how important they are until the chance to act on them has already passed. "
And: " You´re my hearts second chance, too. "
I literally just finished this book and I don´t know how even to explain how much I loved it.
This story has everything in it what I love in a great read, heartbreak, drama, humor, steamy sex and love, always love.
I was hooked from page one. I read it in one sitting, I couldn´t put it down. Do you know these books where you don´t want them to end, but have to know what happens to the characters? That´s Show Me The Way.
I highly recommend this heart wrenchingly story and wish I could give more than 5 stars.

And We Have Another Winner by AL Jackson !
Follow Me Back is the second novel in the Fight For Me Series by the outstanding author A.L. Jackson.
Every book can be read as a standalone. The other books are Show Me The Way - Rex and Rynna´s story and book 1,5 Hunt Me Down Broderick and Lillith´s story from Show Me The Way.

Anyway, Follow Me Back is Kale and Hope´s story. Kale is one of three friends, he´s haunted by his demons , just the other two. And only love is his last hope to set him free.
Kale Bryant is a doctor in a brand new partnership at a pedestrians practice. To be a doctor is his life´s calling. His friend Ollie is a barowner and Rex a construction company owner. While Rex has found his HEA; Kale and Ollie are single. Both are haunted from past experiences.
On the other side is Harley Hope, a single mother and café shop owner. Both meet and have this crazy insta-chemistry. You can literally feel the sparks fly between them. But both on different places in their lives. Hope decides after one night to take things not further. But karma has other ideas. They run into each other in the last expected place. -No spoilers here. -
Let only say so much, You need to read this book. Follow Me Back is nothing I expected and everything I could have asked for at the same time. The writing is great, the story is brilliant and I love trhe words and the characters. This book is raw, it is gritty and it left me a mess. I recommend this wonderful 5 star read!

Lead Me Home by AL Jackson is the third book in the Fight For Me Series. The previous books are Show Me The Way; Hunt Me Down - a novella, and Follow Me Back. I recommend to read the books in order.
Lead Me Home is Nikki and Ollie´s story.
Ollie´s still hung up on a horrible incident 14 years ago. This incident destroyed not only his relationship with Nikki, he lost everything in the aftermath.
And now he get a 2. chance to do the right thing.
Nikki and Ollie have crazy chemistry, but she´s his missing sister´s best friend and this traumatic day changed them forever. He spend his life living in the past and missing the present. When Nikki get threats he gets his econd chance at making things right.
Lead Me Home is a heartwrenching and at the same time beautiful story about love, loss and second chances in life.
Favorite Quote: " Never stop going after what makes your heart feel right. "
Lead Me Home is a standalone in the series and told in a dual POV.

All in all, a great box set, I loved every single book and now that they're in a box set, yay sign me up. 5 Stars.

Show Me the Way - 5 stars
While I've enjoyed other AL Jackson books (Bleeding Stars series), this one blew me away. This book was heart wrenching. Rex and Rynna had perfect chemistry. The dynamic between them worked well, and it was just a little different than the norm. And Frankie Leigh...well, she stole my heart.

Follow Me Back - 4 stars
I wasn’t sure about this book at first, but a few chapters in, I connected. I fell in love with Kale. He’s cocky, strong, caring, and despite his flaws, he’s still lovable. Hope has a quiet strength about her. They both have demons to fight. Hope’s demons are physical, while Kale’s are emotional. This book had me crying both tears of happiness and sadness. The ending was perfect. If you don’t mind knowing who ends up together, this book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading Show Me the Way.

Lead Me Home - 4 stars
I was back and forth with this book. I’m not a fan of the author’s writing style, so I skimmed quite a bit, but I did enjoy the story and still got all the feels.

AL Jackson never ceases to amaze me with her beautiful words. These books were everything and so much more. This series is filled with heartbreakingly beautiful stories that you will be compelled to read and not want to put it down! There are not enough words to describe the feelings I had while reading this series. I smiled, laughed, cried and at times felt my heart being shredded. I can honestly say that I LOVE all of Amy's books but this series was by far her best and my most favorite to date. Be prepared to have your heart ripped apart piece by piece and slowly pieced together for one phenomenal, heart-wrenching, breathtaking beautiful story of sacrifice and love. This series is an absolute must read and a definite top read!

AL Jackson has once again blown me away with her story telling. I've been along for the ride from the early days of her writing journey and she never ceases to amaze me with how she breathes life into each and every one of her stories.

Show Me the Way is the first book in a brand new series. The first book revolves around Rex and Rynna. Both of them have endured heartache, betrayal and loss in their lives. How they've chosen to deal with it has been laid out masterfully in the pages of this book. Amy knows how to squeeze every kind of emotion out of her readers. I love the way she hints at what these characters have been through, then painstakingly reveals the past little by little through the chapters until every detail has finally been revealed. It's like riding a rollercoaster, slowly climbing to the top of that first hill, anxiously sitting there with your heart in your stomach, waiting for that inevitable plunge to occur, and the secrets of the story to be revealed.

"All moments matter. We just rarely know how important they are until the chance to act on them has already passed."

Follow Me Back is the second book in the Fight For Me series. I should know by now that when I read an A.L. Jackson book, I should be prepared for my heart to be put through the wringer. This book did exactly that. She introduced us to two characters who have both suffered through a lot in their lives, but were somehow managing to find a way to make it through each day.

Amy always does this to me, making me fall into the story and feel like I'm living and breathing next to these characters, a fly on the wall of their lives. My heart stretched painfully for Hope and Evan, I just wanted to wrap these two up in my arms and protect them from every bad thing that's ever happened to them. And Kale, I could feel the turmoil that roiled in his spirit. There were several times that I wanted to shake that man! But it's easy to sit on the periphery and say how one should feel or act. Kale struggles with so much in this book, his past colliding with his present in a way he never could have anticipated, feeling like he's in an impossible situation.

Amy knows how to write passion, intense sexual chemistry, hot sexy times, but also describe the unconditional love a mother feels for a child. And how that child changes the lives of everyone they come into contact with.

Lead Me Home is book 3 in the series and all I can say is, Oh Ollie, Ollie, Ollie!! How I have been waiting for your story!! And A.L. Jackson delivered it in spades! From the moment we first met Ollie in the Fight For Me Series novella Hunt Me Down, I was intrigued by him. And I was doubly intrigued with the way that Nikki Walters would make eyes at Ollie and joke: "I'm going to flirt with Ollie over there and see if I can finally get that man to crack." which of course made me start thinking that there has been something going on that we just haven't been made privy to yet.

Amy injects Ollie and Nikki's story with so much emotion throughout, I had to keep tissues handy at all times. Told in dual points of view, as well as chapters told in the past, the reader gets the whole devastating story of what happened when Ollie's sister Sydney disappeared. And since then, Ollie has spent his life searching for any clue as to what happened to her, always holding out a small glimmer of hope that she might still be out there somewhere. It was his job to protect her, and he failed. Because of this, he doesn't feel like he deserves to ever be happy again, doesn't feel he is worthy of loving anyone. Especially Nikki. She is the only thing that brings him any glimmer of light, but he can never have her again. She deserves to find happiness and love, just not with him. Only, the thought of her finding happiness and love with another man rips his guts out.

I loved how complex and intertwined Amy made this story. Ollie's primary focus has been searching for any clues as to what happened to Sydney. But now someone is threatening Nikki, and the tangled web of characters and events - past and present, are slowly moving them in a direction they never anticipated. Just when Ollie finally gives in to the feelings he's always carried for Nikki and it looks like they may be finding a way to move forward together, devastating revelations hit them from both sides and I found myself reaching for those dang tissues once more! Gah!! Amy just about killed me with the suspense and anticipation of what was coming!

It was so wonderful to see all of the characters I've fallen in love with through this series. And as the last book, Amy brings everyone and everything full circle and gives her readers the happily ever afters that each and every couple we've met along the way deserve. Although, in my opinion, there's still SO much story that could be told!! If I had my way, Amy would be just keep writing stories about these amazing characters, keeping us updated on their lives, writing the next generation kid's stories.... I would read them all!!

This was such a great series. It takes place in a small town. Which I loved. The guys are all friends. So there's history between them. I loved the strength the heroines portrayed in all three stories. This series had all the feels. And I've always said this and I'll keep saying it. Nobody writes kid characters like AL Jackson.

A little corny but the stories come to a great close in the final book. Loved all three books. The female narrator is great, both males are terrible. But the stories are good.

Love evolves

These books...wow they gutted me. Rex and Rynna had a sort of enemies to lovers relationship. Rex was devastated by the loss of his first love and abandoned by his first wife, causing him to build walls all around his heart. His priority was his baby girl, he had no time for distractions. Then he met Rynna who managed to capture the love of him and his sweet daughter Frankie Leigh even though he pushed her away at every turn. Scared of his past demons. The way this couple overcame so many obstacles to end united was beautiful.
The next story was about Kale and Hope. All of the stories were good, but this one was my favorite. Kale the self proclaimed bachelor doctor for life was thrown way off his planned life path when he met Hope. He was intensely connected to her from the beginning. Her life was in shambles, so she kept turning him down. Their paths collided again and lightning struck. Kale was instantly protective over her son Evan, sweet Evan. Evan was deaf from the complications of heart surgery and had some problems with his vision. They went through so much and Kale was gutted when his past collided with his present. I went through so many emotions with them. When things finally came full circle I felt so happy for them. Mind you this isn't real, but that's how you know it was really good.
Ollie and Nikki had been friends forever. Bound by a common thread which was their relationship with Sydney, Ollie's little sister. When Sydney went missing their relationship was torn apart. Love delayed for over 10 years. This story shed light on some secrets from the other books and rounded out the series perfectly. This author is amazing. Anytime you are able to evoke emotions from your readers and cause them to truly care about your characters you are doing something right!

3 stunning love stories wrapped into one incredibly beautiful cover!

Show Me the Way:
This story captivated me from the very beginning. This story is powerful, captivating, inspiring, sexy, incredibly romantic and filled with so much raw emotion. It’s worth the chance. I fell in love with Rex & Rynna and little Frankie Leigh just stole my heart! Rex and Rynna have an intense attraction on a soul-deep level that can’t be denied. He tries to fight his attraction and is powerless to resist the magnetic pull to her; the heart knows what is wants. Watching his walls crumble brick by brick was moving. Rex definitely met his match in Rynna. He is a complex alpha-male whose daughter is his entire world; letting people in is not something he does. Rynna is the perfect combination of sweet and strong; she doesn’t just trust anyone. They become one another’s savior and seeing them take a chance and fight for one another made my heart soar. It was breathtaking to witness these two fall in love. I could feel every emotion they experienced -- the butterfly moments, the heart-breaking moments, those moments that melted my heart and those that stole my breath. The intimate scenes are some of the most passionate, sensual, sexy, and romantic scenes I’ve read. Ever. There is so much emotion that it just bleeds of the pages. There are so many inspirational moments in this story. The secondary characters just add to this incredible story; I love each of them. The storyline and twists and turns along the way are incredibly well-written. The ending is so beautifully written and had me in tears; it is absolutely breathtaking!

Follow Me Back:
This story is brilliantly written and left me in awe! Poignant, powerfully raw, incredibly emotional, extremely sexy and breathtakingly romantic. From their very first encounter Kale and Hope have an intense attraction on a soul-deep level that can’t be denied. Try as they may to fight this attraction, they are powerless to resist the magnetic pull – the heart knows what is wants. Kale definitely met his match in Hope. He is a charismatic and complex alpha-male whose past haunts him and believes finding love is not in the cards for him. Hope is the perfect combination of sweet and strong. Life is complicated for her and she is very cautious who she lets in her life. Their chemistry is electric and undeniable. Watching their walls crumble brick by brick was incredibly moving. I could feel every emotion they experienced -- the butterfly moments, the heart-breaking moments, those moments that melted my heart and those that stole my breath. The emotions just bleed of the pages. I adored the secondary characters as well. The family moments and bond between these band of brothers stole my heart. I loved the strong sense of unconditional love and support that is so beautifully woven throughout this incredible story. I simply did not want this story to end. Follow Me Back is beautifully inspiring and truly unforgettable!

Lead Me Home:
A stunning second-chance love story that had me captivated from the very first page until long after the last page ended. Lead Me Home is powerful, inspiring, emotionally raw, suspenseful, intense, incredibly sexy, and breathtakingly romantic. Oliver Preston (Ollie) is a broken and complex man who is incredibly sexy, loyal, and fiercely protective. The layers to this man are endless. I fell madly in love! Nikki Walters is beautiful, witty, generous & self-less. I simply adore her. They share a history and a soul – deep connection that was tragically severed 14 years ago when Ollie’s sister disappeared. Ollie is haunted by his past and has built a fortress around his heart believing he doesn’t deserve love. Nikki’s life was also irrevocably shattered and she too guards her heart. Even after all these years, that magnetic pull to one another is still forever drawn home. No matter how hard they try to deny it, the hearts wants what it wants. Searching for that missing piece to make them whole and they are powerless to stop the fall. Oh, watching these two fall was magical! A brilliantly written and powerful story of hope and forgiveness. A slow-burn, swoon-filled romance with an electrifying push and pull. I fell in love with these characters and storyline; it is beyond everything I imagined it would be. I was deeply impacted by Ollie & Nikki’s story and how they fight to live, fight for those they love and fight for each other. I could truly feel every emotion; they simply radiated from the pages. While my heart was shattered at times, Jackson painstakingly made me whole again; it’s worth all the pain. The heart-felt and inspirational moments are countless and made my heart soar. The unconditional love and support of family and friends was so incredibly heart-warming. Those scenes just stole my heart! With every word I was drawn further under the spell of this phenomenal story as the characters and storyline literally came to life. AL Jackson knocked it out of the park with the final standalone novel in the Fight For Me series! One of my all-time favorite reads. Ever!

I highly recommend reading Fight for Me!!

A Must-Read Series!!!

Show Me the Way :

“You make me feel again, Rynna. You make me feel like every chance is one worth taking. Like you’re leading me out of the darkness that’s ruled my life. When I close my eyes, who I see is you. Show me the way, Rynna. Show me the way out of it. Fuck. Please, show me the way.”

A.L. Jackson creates such soul-crushing, gut-wrenching, heart-breaking backstories for her characters and interweaves the most emotional and tender love story peppered with hope, friendship, humor, love, sensual romance, and moments filled with magic, along with shocking surprises and twists you won’t see coming! You will instantly fall for Rex, Rynna, and cutie pie Sweat Pea Frankie Leigh. Show Me the Way is OUTSTANDING!

“You changed everything, Rynna. Where I found an end, you saw a beginning. You saved me. Called me from the shadows. You changed everything the day you walked into my life. You are my heart’s second chance.”

A.L. Jackson is my top MUST READ author and she has outdone herself with Show Me the Way . I cannot wait for the rest of the Fight for Me series: Follow Me Back and Lead Me Home .

Follow Me Back :

My Heart

Let your heart be lovestruck as A.L. Jackson’s lyrical writing takes you back to Gingham Lakes in the second stand-alone installment of the Fight for Me series, featuring Dr. Kale Bryant and Harley Hope Masterson. Sometimes even hope needs a hero, and sometimes even a hero needs hope.

“. . . don’t ever, ever give up on hope. Because it’s always there. No matter how dismal things might seem.”

Follow Me Back is gripping and emotionally powerful. Filled with love, friendship, family, laughter and surprises, but most of all hope. Kale and Hope’s world’s will collide in ways they could never have expected when neither of them can settle for just one night, when their hearts are hung on hoping for forever.

“I want you in a way I’ve never wanted anyone. Not ever. But I’m afraid I’m not capable of being the man you see because there isn’t a whole lot of that guy left. I lost him a long time ago. I live for the people around me. For my job. My friends. Their families. My patients. I’ve walked that line for a long, long time. The straight. The narrow. Never veering from my path. But as hard as I try to stop it, colliding with you feels unavoidable.”

Jackson is a master at writing swoon-worthy leading men and fiercely amazing female leads. Come fall in love with Kale, Hope, Evan and Jenna, and revisit with our favorite characters from Hunt Me Down and Show Me the Way .

Lead Me Home :

"We do our best. We live and we love. We cherish and we hold. We fight with everything we have, even when we know we might lose. We do it because we can't do anything else. Because we love so hard, loving is the only thing we can do."

Oh, my heart . . . The Fight for Me series will be forever etched on my soul. These beautiful love stories shrouded by tragedy culminate in Lead Me Home.

He has always been her protector, her Beast.

She has always been his light, his Sunshine.

Nikki and Ollie's story in Lead Me Home is so profoundly and intensely emotional that I can't come up with the words to express how deeply their story - how the entire series - affected me.

Theirs is an intimate and everlasting love built on a life-long friendship that surmounts tragedy and through courage, forgiveness, and hope has a second chance to become something truly beautiful.

"Forever and ever, you and me."

Love to battle heartbreak.

Hope to battle despair.

Light to battle darkness.

"Not to forget. But to live whole and free in the middle of it."

Tragedy, heartbreak, and loss. Second chances, love and enduring friendships. Shocking revelations. Sweet surprises. Tears, hope, and laughter. Sensual romance. A.L. Jackson's lyrical writing delivers it all.

"Never stop going after what makes your heart feel right."

I highly recommend reading the Fight for Me series in order from the beginning to feel the full emotional breadth of these beautifully interwoven stories that connect this group of friends and lovers: Hunt Me Down featuring Lily and Brody, Show Me the Way featuring Rynna and Rex, Follow Me Back featuring Hope and Kale, before concluding with Lead Me Home featuring Nikki and Ollie.

I have absolutely loved this series. Its full of such emotion and heart. A.L Jackson's writing has such a strength and beauty to it that you are instantly drawn in from beginning to end. She has never disappointed me with her phenomenal style of writing as brings you heartbreaking yet hopeful stories with amazing twists and turns you don't see coming and engaging characters you become hooked on. The fact you can now get these three amazing stories in one book now is pure magic.

Show Me the Way
What an amazing start to a new series from A.L Jackson. Her writing has just blown me away with her style, her characters and her storylines. There is no way you can not read this and fall in love with Rex, Rynna and especially the adorable Frankie.

Rex Gunner, can I just say wow!!! hes one hot, sexy, brooding, single dad!! Totally swoon-worthy and panty dropping. How can you resist a man who's hard and mean to those around him but melts like butter towards his adorable Tiny Dancer daughter, swoon!!

I loved Rynna, she has been through a lot and I don't blame her for running away all those years ago, it took some amazing strength to finally have the courage to come back to town. She also showed so much beauty and strength with her persistence in her seeking a friendship with Rex. After him being so forceful with and rude most women would walk away. Her sweetness really help blunt his sharp edges.

Sometimes things happen for a reason, to knock you on your arse and make you wake up and start living again and that's what happens when Rex and Rynna meet by chance after she moves back home. The connection between them is instant and scorching hot. They just have to get over the huge obstacle course that Rex has put up around himself.

You cannot help but get completely whisked away in the journey they go through, there are some twists and turns that make you completely hooked and unable to put the book down until you have finished.

This was such a beautifully written emotional story that is full of love, sacrifice, redemption, betrayal, loss and healing. This is definitely one of her best books so far.

Follow Me Back
This is the second instalment in the Fight for Me series and I thought it would take a lot to topple Rex off the top of my swoon list but Kale did it with one hit. Follow Me Back is Breathtakingly Beautiful it is such a beautiful book of love and loss, of healing and of hope. I loved every breathtaking word.

There is no way you can not fall in love/lust/swoon with Dr Kale Bryant!! the dedicated children's doctor by day and Panty-melting sex on a stick, Mr one-night only. He's so sweet and caring, you will swoon with every interaction with Frankie Leigh and Evan, he is brilliant with kids. your ovaries will be crying out!

Hope Masterson knocks Kale on his ass the first night they meet, she sparks something in him that he thought had long died, she slowly brought him back to life and gave him hope that he could actually have a family. One taste of Hope and Kale is craving more, unfortunately her life is quite complicated but the pull between them is so strong they will deal with together.

Kale and Hope together are so beautiful to watch, every Princess needs her Cowboy. Their Chemistry was scorching hot, they are so perfect for each other, true soulmates.

Lead Me Home
This was the book I had been waiting for from this series. After meeting Ollie in the previous books, my heart had broke for him, he had such a raw pain radiating from her after his sister went missing. He has had no closure.

Having met Nikki too, and loving the little match-maker straight away in previous books, I have been rooting for her and Ollie to get together. She was Ollie's sisters, best friend and they both carry the pain and loss of that dreadful night. They both deserve a second chance, a chance to heal and find love and happiness.

I think for me this was A.L Jackson's best book to-date. Her writing was so gripping and evoking. Tissues and alcohol will be needed as your heart will break again and again for both Nikki and Ollie (even though i wanted to shake Ollie a few times).

I am sad that this is the end of this series. I would like to see more of these brilliant characters I have fallen in love with.

Gah!! One of my favorite series in one book!!!

Gah! One of my most favorite series, all THREE books, in one GORGEOUS book!!!!

Show Me the Way:
This book!!! It was everything!! It is so hard to put into words how much I loved Show Me The Way, the first book in the Fight For Me series by AL Jackson. She truly has an amazing gift with words. You can feel her words, feel what her characters are feeling. It was breathtaking, heartbreaking and funny at times. This is the story of Rex Gunner, a single dad to Frankie Leigh the most adorable, sweet, and loving little girl, and Rynna Dayne, pie maker extraordinaire. I really connected with her. I just wanted to give her a big hug!! Rex and Rynna have both been hurt so bad, emotionally, in the past. Neither were looking for love, but love found them anyway and their chemistry was off the charts. Getting to their HEA wasn't easy. They each had to get past their personal demons and overcome outside forces to get there. The outside force has a name, and it's Janel. As fate would have it, she wrecked havoc, that's putting it mildly, on both Rex and Rynna. There is nothing I love more than two deserving characters getting their HEA. This book also had very strong, well developed, secondary characters with Macy, Rynna's best friend and Kale and Ollie, Rex's best friends.

Follow Me Back:
It goes without saying that if I pick up an AL Jackson book to read, I'm going to love it. Saying that I loved this book just doesn't seem enough. This is the story of Hope and Kale. They met at Olive's, the local bar. The attraction is instant and so strong. Neither of them are quite ready for that yet, with Hope having a complicated life and Kale doesn't believe that he deserves love. That is so far from the truth! Kale is this amazing man, a doctor, who has so much love to give and is so fiercely protective. He is just who Hope needs. Hope, never has a name fit someone so perfectly, she is filled with so much hope. This book has so much....it has laughter and tears, heart felt moments and steamy sexy times. This is a book that will stick with you for a while after you finish.

Lead Me Home:
There is no way possible I can write a review that will do justice in how much I loved Lead Me Home. AL Jackson has once again written a masterpiece. This is Ollie's story. It is also Nikki's story. Ollie and Nikki were best friends, along with his sister Sydney, for most of their lives. They did everything together, they even took a blood oath "we are three. forever and ever. you and me". Until one fateful night when everything changed, Sydney went missing. Ollie has lived with such guilt and regrets in the 14 years that have gone by. One of his biggest regrets? Pushing Nikki away in the aftermath of Sydney's disappearance. This author has such a way of writing that at times I really felt how these characters were feeling, she had me crying a few times. It wasn't all tears though. Mixed throughout were fun, happy times that had me laughing and some seriously hot AF sexy times. I can't recommend this book enough!!

Another great story that captivates you but I have to say it’s getting a bit heavy for me. I will be ready for a light fun rom com after this...

I cannot say this enough, AL Jackson is brilliant with her words. You guys!!! I have yet to read a book by AL Jackson that isn’t phenomenal, I swear. From her fantastic characters to her addictive and heart-breaking stories, AL Jackson always hooks me from the very beginning, all the way up until the very last page. Get this collection. Experience it. Fall in love with not only a set of phenomenal characters but epic stories.

FIGHT FOR ME: Rex and Rynna's story.
A hot, single dad? Yes, please!!!!

Rex. Oh man...REX. His remorse, his guilt, his PAIN. Holy hell. Talk about emotional angst! He was broken but yet remained the most amazing father to Frankie who’s got to be THE CUTEST little girl EVER. She was beyond adorable!!! Hands-down my favorite character in this book. Too cute!

Rynna had her fair share of issues too. What happened to her that made her run all those years ago about broke my heart into a thousand pieces. And her grandma! Oh man. My heart was sad for them...

FOLLOW ME BACK: Kale & Hope's story
Ever since meeting Kale in Fight For Me, I was intrigued. I loved seeing him interact with Rex’s kids and loved how much he loved them. I loved how he was always family-oriented despite letting his past get the best of his present.

This book was more emotional than anything. Evan, that sweet, sweet little boy walked right into my heart. I was so scared for him the entire time and my heart was constantly breaking! Gah!! EVANNN!!!!! Wait till you meet this little boy...

Hope was an AMAZING mother. So, so, SO strong!!!! She and Evan were in many ways what Kale was terrified of, but exactly what he needed to face in order to start living again. Fate is an amazing thing, and AL Jackson wrote Hope and Kale's story perfectly.

LEAD ME HOME: Ollie and Nikki's story.
OMG OLLIE!!!! This book concluded the Fight for Me series and what a phenomenal ending!! Everything came full circle for EVERYONE, and wow. My heart, you guys, my heart!

Ollie and Nikki met when they started elementary school and became best friends immediately right along with Sydney, Ollie's sister. Fast forward to their teenage years, when Ollie and Nikki realized they had feelings for each other. But then, the unthinkable happened and it tore everyone up inside, but more so, Ollie. He never stopped loving Nikki, but he kept himself from fully having her because of his guilt. To say he blamed himself for his sister's disappearance would be the biggest understatement ever. But what was worse was that he couldn't even look at Nikki without having that painful reminder of what had happened. And again, my heart broke for him.

What an emotional and gripping story. While I am devasted the series came to an end, it honestly could not have had a better ending. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!

Get ready for a boxed set that will warm your heart and soul. The entire Fight For Me series is now available in a boxed set from A.L. Jackson. All three stories are ones that are full of redemption and love.

What could be better than a story of a single dad trying to find love? In Show Me The Way – Rex and Rynna must learn how to overcome their pasts, and discover what it means to love unconditionally. Readers will love the dynamic between Rynna, Frankie Leigh and Rex!!

How can you find love when your life seems to be stuck in the past? Kale and Hope have an unbelievable attraction to one another. However – the simplicity of that attraction is lost when they both decide that a relationship just isn’t in the cards. When the need to seek out the other becomes more than just a thought, what crossroad will Kale and Hope face in Follow Me Back?

In Lead Me Home – Nikki is determined to become more than just friends with Ollie. A tragedy from Ollie’s past has left him broken and tattered, determined to never let his heart love again. Ollie is never far whenever Nikki needs his protection, but what happens when more than their friendship is on the line?

Trust me when I say that the Fight For Me series is definitely one boxed set that needs to be in your collection. Each book will lead you on a tattered road that holds the fate of two broken souls. Only time will tell what is in store for each of these couples. Dive in….get lost in the nuance of discovering that one true love!!

show me the way
Every time I think this author couldn't possibly own my heart and soul , well she does it again!
Rex, Frankie, Rynna, Rynna's girls, her grandmother, Rex's boys..
So freaking much to say and I can't lol
I will say the story totally captivated me..Rex and his fears, his guilt, his passion, his protective nature..when the guard is down the light is blinding.
Rynna has such a kind heart, she is so sweet, but also stronger than she realises, she is independent and she takes chances when it matters.
I won't even go near their pasts.. I will just say that they broke my heart.
Frankie is just so cute..such joy and so pure.
Loved everything about this story!

follow me back
AL Jackson, as always, got me hooked from page 1!
Kale and Hope's story is full of banter, a chemistry so strong and a world of hurt for them both..but at the same time it's hopeful and beautiful, with characters so lovable and special!
The story broke my heart and healed it , made me fall in love with the characters and the story!
Can't wait for the next book!

lead me home
I can't even say how excited I have been for this book since the first book in the series.
Nikki and Ollie were bound to destroy me and they certainly did. Their connection and their chemistry, the love and the grief..plus there is so much more going on.
Al Jackson once again proved she is a master storyteller. I was spellbound right from the start and on edge throughout the story.

I am reviewing book one of the series, Show Me the Way. As per usual, Amy managed to steal my breath and take her time giving it back to me. In this book we have Rynna and Rex. Rynna is the girl who knows the pain of a broken heart but also wants to take the chance on love. Rex is the opposite, shutting down his emotions and only letting them peek out around his daughter.

Single fathers are like crack to me. There’s just something about a man loving and caring for his child, always makes my knees weak.

In typical Amy fashion, we get a tender hearted love story that leaves you smiling like a fool at the end. The ups and downs as the characters deal with the pain of their past and the seemingly bright but too-good-to-be-true future, are enough to break your heart over and over.

The pace was just right, the chemistry was dizzying, and the WORDS...Amy, you’re magnificent. You write such beautiful stories and you tell them with words that make your readers FEEL. We feel everything, we see everything.

This was another winner in my collection of ALJ books. This is BOOK ONE in the new Fight for Me boxset. You guys don’t want to miss this, trust me 🖤

Fight for Me box set is a gem you need to have on your e-reader! You get the best of all three worlds: Show Me The Way, Follow Me Back, and Lead Me Home. All three books read alone, gave me an emotional ride! But reading these story one right after another, wow!! You need to take some time off to recover. I loved the heroes in all three stories, and the woman in their life are fierce! You can take your time reading each story, or be like me and have to read over a long weekend! These books will get under your skin!

This is a three book series with no cliffhangers. I’m so glad I had all three in one. I read the audio version and listened to these characters come to life. I enjoyed each story a lot. Rex and Rinna, Caleb and Hope, Ollie and Nikki. Each had their own story with a back story.

Rex, Caleb, Ollie, Nikki and Sydney were all childhood friends. Tragedy took Sydney from them but it’s a mystery throughout the series what happened. Each is lost in their own way. Rinna and Hope have their own struggles, as well. But the beauty in each relationship is how healing and forgiving it is. And at the heart of it all is this amazing, unconditional love and support their friendship affords them. They are not perfect, they are just perfect for each other.

This is a series that deserves a read. Get lost in this group of friends as they find love and the forgiveness they need and deserve.

All three of these standalone stories had the WOW factor. Each one is a wonderful story which is extremely well written. I was so invested in it all the way through in these beautifully lyrical, sexy and in some parts heartbreaking stories.

Don't let these books fool you, they have angst and anticipation that will take your breath away, as well as a fabulous twist at the end that I didn't see coming at all.

This is a truly amazing series which I just loved, honestly, they are perfection in all ways. These three books are all standalone but the characters are all intertwined, they are all friends and that bond they share just shines through in each story you read. A.L. Jackson has worked her magic with this series and I can't recommend them enough.

AL Jackson has been one of my favorite authors for some time, and these books just proves to me why, and cements the fact she won’t be dropping from that spot any time soon. From the overwhelming feelings in Show Me The Way, to the profound connection between Kale and Hope in Follow Me Back, to the twists and turns that stole my heart and mind in Lead Me Home, this series has it all.

Jackson has the ability to stop me in my tracks as her words are pounded into my soul. Each character, each connection, is something that brings me life. And my favorite character Jackson or anyone else has ever written is in this series, and to this day I still get misty-eyed when I think of little Evan.

Everything about these books is beautiful, and I'll love them all forever.

Three phenomenally written, emotionally charged, swoony small town romances that absolutely captured my heart. This Fight for Me series collection is a must have.

I love every book and this bundle. A.L. Jackson gave us three uniquely wonderful interconnected standalones. A heart breaking, broody single dad romance in Show Me The Way. A sexy love story with a charismatic doctor and a fiercely protective and determined single mom in Follow Me Back. And, Lead Me Home, a suspenseful second chance, friends to lovers romance that provided so many answers.

If you haven't read these stories, now is the time to visit the gang of Gingham Lakes.
