Where can I start with how much I love this book and Braden and Willow! First I love second chance romances, I think they are my favorite to see two people come together despite all the odds that have split them up once and overcome because the love is just so much stronger. Though sometimes it takes a little longer for both to come to the same conclusion that LOVE can conquer all things! Braden and Willow prove that in this one!

Overcoming Willow's fears of always being rejected and that she isn't enough for anyone to love is something Braden has a long journey to prove seeing as he's let her down once already in life and proven what she has always feared. She's just not lovable enough to stick around. Braden had his own demons to chase away and deal with in never feeling worthwhile in his fathers eyes. He left Willow to prove to himself and others that just because he wasn't the sports jock that was expected in a family full of them, he still had a purpose in life.

When Braden comes home, he's determined to win back the one woman who never left his thoughts for very long. As for Willow she's moved on and dating again but never letting anyone close enough to hurt her heart again. When Braden takes a job with the Miami Thunder working for his cousin Ian, he knows it's his chance with Willow because she's also working for the team.

Can he prove to her he's back to stay and she's safe to risk her heart again and take a chance? Willow can't deny she's still attracted to Braden, after all the man is a hot doctor and has charm like no other. So she proposes they have a friend's with benefits situation until they are both over each other and the attraction is flickered out. Braden agrees to that knowing in his heart he can win the woman he loves back and get his happily ever after like his other siblings have gotten lately.

Steamy, and hot, Braden and Willow's love will grab you and take you on that journey of finding and overcoming those insecurities that everyone seems to battle at some point.

Oh geez. Finally, we get Braden’s book. Dare to Stay is the fourth book in the Dare Nation series. You can enjoy it as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend reading the other books. It’s filled with such great characters and unique storylines; you won’t be sorry. Okay. Braden. Braden is the Prescott sibling that left two years ago to work with Doctors Without Borders. While his family was off being successful sports professionals and building a business to help those sports professionals, Dare Nation, he was out in another country providing medical care to the less fortunate. When his cousin Ian, the owner of the Miami Thunder NFL team, needs a head physician, he decides to come back home to fill the position. Coming back to family was the easy part. Coming back to see the woman he loved and left behind is the more challenging part. Willow is a Sports Therapist for the Miami Thunder and is taken off guard when she finds out her new colleague is her ex, who left her without an explanation. A man she loved and trusted but, like everyone else in her life, left in the end. After seeing Willow, Braden wants her back, but can he get beyond her walls to get him to trust him again?

This book had me doing a happy sigh at the end. Braden and Willow had a lot to work through. Braden had to be honest with Willow about why he left, and Willow had to decide if he was worth taking a second chance on. They both became each other’s strengths and truths. While Braden’s slow and steady persistence won out, Willow didn’t make it easy for him. This story was set at a nice pace and had so many heartfelt moments. I turned the last page as a happy reader.

Braden Prescott has been serving with Doctors Without Borders and he's finally returned home. He's gone to work as the head team doctor for the Miami Thunder and so while he's adjusting to his new role, he also has his sights set on winning back the woman he lost when he went to Africa two years prior.

Willow James is an athletic trainer for the Miami Thunder and she has learned to guard her heart, not only because of the tough way she grew up, but also because of the heartbreak she endured when Braden left previously. When she learns he's back, those walls that he had broken down when they were originally together are now back up higher than ever.

As Braden works to try to prove that he's home to stay and that Willow can trust him, they have to deal with work issues, a patient who they take under their wing and other issues as well. Will they be able to come back together stronger than before?

The chemistry between these two was off the charts. It was easy to tell that they cared for one another and even when they were apart, the connection was still there. I loved how they helped Aurora and the family vibe of this series is so good! Another winner from Carly Phillips!

The is a wonderful Second Chance Romance by Author Carly Phillips. I have been waiting for this brother's book it seems like forever. Braden is the oddball of the family it seems. Most of the family is connected to sports in one way or another. Braden is a doctor. He left his girlfriend Willow to work with Doctors without Borders for a two-year stint and let's just say she was not happy and did not wait for him. Once that time was served he realized what he really wanted to do in his heart of hearts and it also lined up with the time that the Miami Thunder needed a Head Doctor.

Willow his ex-girlfriend works for the Miami Thunder and will make it a path for Braden to try to win her back. It is not an easy thing and that is one of the things I love about this author. There are real-life situations in this book that had me unable to put this book down once I started reading it. I loved catching up with some of my favorite characters from past books and I am looking forward to new characters in future books as well.

I enjoyed this instalment of the Dare Nation series but not quite as much as the other books I’ve read to date.

I was a bit bummed by Braden. He left Willow without a second thought, went away for couple of years and then ‘cos he realised he’d made a mistake wants a second chance with her. TBH I found him a little too much and too ‘in her face’ at times. I get that he didn’t’t know her situation growing up but that didn’t make me feel any better about the way he treated her.

Willow... for her part she didn’t move on from Braden and to some extent, given her upbringing, I could maybe understand that BUT the girl really needed to live her life and she wasn’t doing that. Her trust in Braden had been shattered once and holding back in case he hurt her again was understandable.

The guy that she had kinda dated was for me surplus to requirements - didn’t much see the point of him to be honest........ harsh, yeah, but just the way I felt!!
