This album is an amazing collection of the Dave Matthews Band and gives a sneak peak into why they're the greatest band in the world. It was a great buy and a joy to listen to.

This collection definitely has some of the best songs from Dave Matthews Band. I just wish that the original version of "Stay" was on this collection. There was a live version of "Stay", but I very much prefer the original version. Some of the very strong tracks on this cd are "Too Much", "Rapunzel", and "What Would You Say". However, my personal favorites in this collection are "Crush", and "Crash Into Me" (two very romantic and sensual songs). "Crush" is a very romantic song about how his interest grows more and more over time in the person that he wants so much. "Crash Into Me" is a very steamy and poetical musical about desiring to have sex with someone that is very soothing to the soul (as expressed in the lyrics sweet like candy to my soul, sweet you rock and sweet you roll). Many people who enjoy alternative rock and/or adult contemporary music are going to like this collection.

No disrespect to the Dave Matthews Band or indeed their followers and of course everyone has different tastes. However, I only bought this sample album on the strength of someone at Amazon consistently grouping the DM Band within my taste genre. On every occasion I viewed albums from the very polished and vocally accomplished 'Matchbox Twenty', I was subsequently 'blanket bombed' with Dave Matthews material which of course I believed would be justified. Sadly (and this is only my opinion of course) The DM Band are not within the same league and most certainly shouldn't be grouped within the same genre as MB 20 and the very gifted Rob Thomas who unlike Dave Matthews doesn't sound like he is making up his music during a jazz, Blues, Country jam. Thank you Amazon for wasting my money....I suppose I'm now off to the charity shop to get rid of this space taker waste of eleven quid!
Who pays these people to decide on genres? Save your cash or buy 'anything' by Matchbox Twenty and enjoy your purchase!

    it's ok but it's ... so slowly

Life long fan of Amercian rock and alternative music having through the 90's listened to a lot of music by Pearl Jam, REM, Alice in Chains, Hootie and the Blowfish etc... had heard a lot of chat about Dave Matthews so gave this a try. Very disappointed. Douche bag music that you'd hear playing in the background in a coffee shop that was trying to portray a hip and cool image. Not my cup of tea at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Band - tolle Scheibe
Reviewed in Germany on 21 March 2013
The Space Between" verliebt habe.
