À propos de l'auteur
Kelly Siskind lives in the wilds of Western Canada. When she’s not out hiking or skiing, you can find her, notepad in hand, scribbling down one of the many plot bunnies bouncing around in her head. She loves singing while driving, looks awful in yellow, and is known for spilling wine at parties.

- Avis laissé en France le 22 avril 2020Prepare yourself to have your heart stolen by this entertaining and original story !
I loved New Orleans Rush so much and wanted to read more from Kelly Siskind ; and let me tell you i am not disappointed !
Don't Go Stealing My Heart is what i expected and more.
The author surprises us in so many aspects.
Some examples:
_Clementine, the heroine is a modern Robin Hood, she steals to help people who have nothing, like her when she was younger.
_Maxwell Jack, the hero, is a tribute artist (first time in my life i read something like that).
_If you love reptiles you're gonna be happy !
_A town and shops with quirky names.
_An impersonator contest.
_Heist, thieves, suspense, surprising twists...
This story is funny and steamy and deeply emotional (but not too teary), your heart will be full and you will end this book with a big smile !
I love Elvis'music so i love Kelly Siskind's choice and she succeeds to make me understand those men and women who impersonate celebrities. I thought that was a lack of personnality and a bit sad but finally i totally understood our hero and i rooted for him.
I love Jack's family, yes they are rich but with them you can forget all your prejudices.
Jack is so different from the kind of heroes we are used too. He's sensitive, hot, sweet and a bit weird but in an adorable way.
Clementine is just amazing, a real badass. She's a survivor and a fighter.
Their banter and their chemistry is off the charts.
The last twist of the story is worthy of a funny and suspenseful movie.
---> a must read

5,0 sur 5 étoiles Loved it.
Every book Kelly writes impresses me more and more. She's so fiercely talented that I can't help but be in awe of her words. Don't Go Stealing My Heart is a shining example of that.
Clementine is an adorable heroine who's not perfect, but is absolutely perfect at the same time. She's quirky and adorable, a whole lot of fun to follow throughout the pages. I loved that she was a little bit bad, but with good intentions, of course. I'm for certain that she is my new favorite heroine in books.
Lawd have mercy. Jack is a hottie. I love him. He's kind-hearted and generous, the sweetest of the sweet, but holy sexy in bed. Enough said, yeah?
I loved this story. It's unique and fun, nothing heavy and exactly what I needed to read at the time. Kelly's writing sparkles on the pages, while Jack and Clementine proved to be a new favorite romance couple of mine.

4,0 sur 5 étoiles Quirky and feel-good
I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.
4.5 stars — I made the mistake of reading this book while I was listening to another book that had a lot of similarities, so I will admit that that had me flustered and confused sometimes. Rookie mistake, I swear. Regardless of all that, I really fell in love with the quirky characters in this book, from our MCs to the small town. They made the book, and I loved my time in the crazy town of Whichway.
Clementine was quirky, sassy, vulnerable, conflicted…and seriously naive (but in an endearing way I think). There were so many little treats in this book — watching Clementine be accepted by the townspeople, seeing her connect with Chloe…it was all so satisfying. I loved all those little moments, all those wins for her. I didn’t even mind if some felt too good to be true, because Clem deserved that. She had me rooting for her even though she made some classic character mistakes that usually irk me (making assumptions, being a martyr, etc).
Jack was such an intriguing character in his own right, so many strange contradictions. I fell in love with his shy awkward self, and I understood his more dominating tendencies after hearing his tale of growing up. It was hot, but I was more in love with the sweating, bumbling, doesn’t-know-how-to-flirt Jack…what can I say, dorkiness does it for me. I appreciated that he was also shaped very strongly by things that happened when he was growing up…even as he had a loving family.
And they definitely had chemistry in spades. It was the tummy tingling, smiling, giggling kind…mixed with a large dose of heat.
I definitely called all the twists and turns pretty early on, but I don’t think that dimmed my enjoyment…it just made me hurt for Clementine more, because it showcased how much someone can be influenced from a young age. Basically it highlighted her naivety.
The book definitely wouldn’t have been the same without the secondary characters…they were delightful. It almost felt like the town itself was a character — it added so much uniqueness and flavour and fun.
The only reason I’m not rounding up is that I wasn’t completely sucked in…I found my mind wandering. But that might not be the book, it might just be me and the mood I was in. It’s definitely the kind of book I’m going to want to come back to and revisit sometime when I need some feel-good moments.

5,0 sur 5 étoiles Fantastic Read
Clementine is a regular Robin Hood. Stealing from the rich to donate to the poor, she’s lived a rough life that led her to this, and to being trained for it. Reservations she might be having, but this next heist feels very important. How was she to know that the extremely attractive man she’s supposed to be stealing from also has a heart of gold? Jack David is generational wealth, but he also works very hard at his job. The small town he’s from relies on him and his family, and honestly, they are well liked. Philanthropic and kind, the opposite of what most people might expect. Sparks fly between Clementine and Jack, but how can their past, and their presents, reconcile? Especially given what all is laying on the line.
Another great read from Kelly Siskind. The second book in the Showmen series, it can be read as a complete standalone. Clementine and Jack are magnetic together, and absolutely delicious. The side characters are the best, especially Imelda. This book has the usual Kelly Siskind cleverness and humor, as well as sexiness. Also, there are multiple Elvis impersonators. Pardon me, tribute artists. And that adds an extra layer of fun. You’ll definitely want to read this one.
