Bait and Switch (A Romantic Comedy) Kindle Edition
Grant "Mitch" Mitchell is a cop accustomed to bailing out his charming, irresponsible twin, but his brother's never been mixed up with a criminal before. The plan to get his twin out of trouble is a simple bait and switch.
Mitch will go undercover as his brother to gather evidence to put the bad guy in jail. It seems easy enough until a blond knockout shows up on his brother's doorstep. She's not only gorgeous, she's spitting mad. Before Mitch knows it, he's trying to keep his hands to himself while winning back his brother's girl!
Meanwhile, his twin is living it up while attempting to impress a woman who thinks he's Mitch. Which leaves a doozy of a question: Are the women falling for them or their mirror images?

- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2012Identical twins, I have heard about them, even knows a few pairs of them, but MIRROR IMAGE twins, this is the first timeI heard about it. For this reason alone, I was hooked from Chapter 1.
Mitch and Cary are identical twins who are mirror image of each other; case in point - one is left handed, the other is right handed. Mitch is the serious one while Cary is carefree, with a devil-may-care attitude. Mitch is a cop, while Cary works as a recreational specialist with a gambling problem. And Cary is in big trouble - he could go to jail, or worst, he can die.
As always, he goes to Mitch, his older brother by 3 minutes, who always bails him out, for help. The solution they came up with, Mitch and Cary will switch identities so that Mitch can investigate Cary's predicament. It would have been a home run, except that the twins did not count on the women who are in love with them.
Adding to the very complicated situation is that both Mitch and Cary found themselves falling in love with the "wrong" woman, who happens to be their brother's type! What a conundrum!!!
Enjoyable and entertaining, though it stopped short of being laugh out loud funny, "Bait & Switch" is one of those stories that you will find amusing, even remember because the characters are just lovable. Some of the situations might be highly improbable, especially with Cary, but it did not detract me from truly enjoying the book.
Great read overall!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2012I had no problems getting started in this story, but soon it turn and got a little boring towards the middle of the story. From then on I had a hard time trying to stay interested. The story itself was well written, but the flow of the story became a bit stale. By the high ratings that the other reviewers have given this story, it might have just been me. For some odd reason this story just didn't do it for me. I didn't feel any chemistry between the characters, nor did I find the story line believable.
Would I recommend this book? Probably not!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 10, 2012Not as funny as I thought it would be, it was still somewhat entertaining. It did take me a few days to complete because that engaging element was just not there, so I really didn't have a burning desire to finish it. Overall it was an ok read.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 7, 2014I enjoyed the book. The plot was a little unusual even if the outcome was predictable it was still an entertaining read.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2012Took a few pages to get into the book, but then was a good read, some humor and good turn of events. Just a fun read after slow start
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2012I enjoyed this book and found it to be entertaining. It was a bit short but the plot moves along. Would have like a bit more character detail and insight into each one of the main characters. But all in all, a fun read.
