Melissa Foster does it again, she delivers another great read that has us wishing, or me at least, that we were a part of these fun loving friends that care so much for each other they help them see past their own fears and dive into the unknown.To Gavin Harper was this mythical creature that his friends always talked about but he hadn't met since moving to the cape, well their worlds are about to collide and when they come face to face it's more than a shocker to them both.Harper is returning to the Cape after living in California for a while, she's done with men after a one-night-stand left her wanting more and he never called and a couple of botched relationships since, she also needs to figure things out with her life after the fiasco that happened in LA.I absolutely loved this second-chance romance. Gavin had me swooning! He was the perfect person to help Harper with everything that she was going through. Their chemistry was through the roof, they also had a deep connection that was very special to witness.There was a little angst in this book, some necessary some not, but either way everything was worked through fairly quickly.Although Bayside Romance is the fifth book in the Bayside Summers series it can be read as a standalone, past characters do make appearances but each story is based on an individual couple and does not have a running story so you can start the series wherever you like.Happy Reading!!!**I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book for my Blog, Nadine's Obsessed with Books**

    This book was perfect. It was like your favorite rom-com movie and then some in a book with all the details you love. I’ve always enjoyed Harper and loved getting to know Gavin through Serena; these two are definitely meant to find each other. Really liked the beginning with Harper’s interaction with Trey to showing up at the bonfire to find ‘the one who got away’. The way Gavin helped Harper find her way back to her bubbly self and all the amazing things he did for her along the way, definitely swoon worthy. And of course it wouldn’t be a Melissa Foster book without catching up with our friends and this book had an overabundance of my favorite characters making appearances, I did a happy dance each time someone I’ve been missing came on the scene. But of course not everything would be smooth sailing but with the help of Gavin’s family and Violet and Andre, Gavin and Harper are definitely heading toward something amazing together. My favorite line from this awesome book was, ‘I could say I’ve waited since last summer, but the truth is, I’ve been waiting for you my whole life’. Thank you for another outstanding book, Melissa Foster. Definitely looking forward to the next book.

    I did not want this book to end! I wanted to keep reading about Gavin, Harper, and their friends and family, but unfortunately, the book was over. If you have been an avid reader of Melissa Foster books, like I am, then you will remember Gavin and Harper from previous books, but now they have their own hot, sweet, and romantic story, and I never wanted to stop listening to this book. Actually, I have to confess that I sat in parking lots many times, still listening after I had arrived at my destination. Melissa has done it again. She has written a 5+ star book. Gavin is the man that can melt your insides, and Harper is the sweetest woman that you want with him, if it can't be you. Then, the narrators, Savannah Peachwood , Jacob Morgan, brings the story to life, just using their voices. The combination of Melissa Foster, Savannah Peachwood, and Jacob Morgan earns this book more than the five stars that I am able to give it.

    Harper is going through a tough time after being pretty much chewed up and spit out by the LA scene. She had a good thing going for her screen writing career until her show as canceled and had to go back with her tail between her legs home where those close to her are unaware of whats going on. On top of that she had a real connection with a guy during her one and only one night stand and the guy never called back. Imagine her surprise when she finds him and that he works with someone she knows. Now she trying to get her mojo back by working on a screen play, and seeing about that connection both she and Gavin have.

    If you love a good contemporary romance. One of the added bonus of reading this book is getting to see previous characters play their roles and make appearances in this book so I get to see a bit of their lives even after their HEA. As for these main characters Gavin and Harper, I loved seeing the romance bloom between the two. Then there was the steamy scene which are also pretty great but don't over power the book itself. I loved seeing how caring and the support for one another. This book was just a sweet book to read, I mean I would love to talk more about this book but that would be hard without giving any thing away. But trust me you'll enjoy this book I really loved getting to know these characters and seeing the romance and it was just a really cute book.

    I have to start by saying I am LOVING this series!!! Gavin and Harper are relationship goals, they are that amazing! I recently said that I thought Drake was the swooniest of the Bayside men, but that was before I got to know Gavin!!
    Gavin and Harper, or Parker, actually met at a music festival in Virginia right before she left for LA. They were suppose to be a one night stand, but it was so much more! Harper left the next morning without saying goodbye. This kinda devastated Gavin and he didn’t know she had left her number in one of his suitcase pouches.
    They meet again when Harper comes back to the Cape almost a year later. She thinks he wasn’t interested since he didn’t call. And he had no idea she had left her number. Gavin isn’t going to lose her again, so he decides to slowly show her why they’d be good together.
    Harper has come back to the Cape because things went badly in LA and she’s lost her confidence. Gavin knows what that’s like, so he decides to help her find it. Watching their relationship grow was simply amazing!! I can’t think of two characters that were meant to be together more then these two!!
    It was wonderful to revisit with all the gang! And to meet new characters in Gavin’s family, Harvey, Tegan, and Jock.
    Loving this series so much and I highly recommend it to everyone!!!!

    All the sweet and swoony words! I absolutely adore Gavin! I've loved him since we met him in an elevator like 2-3 books ago! And Harper is just the sweetest thing ever!! Together they heat up the pages. And the sheets, and the walls, and the shower...

    I actually bounced between audible and actual reading with this book. But once I got an earful of Jacob Morgan's sweet sultry voice and my lady bits went berserk it was difficult to go back to just reading. His voice, y'all. I will never tire of listening to Gavin's "So sweet, baby". **Sigh** he's a panty melter alright.

    But anyhow, the story. I laughed so hard at Gav and his buddies. Zander is a hoot! And when Harper has her run-in with the dark haired airplane guy? Hahaha!! Together they are amazing!! But hold on, because it's not all sunshine and happy rainbows. Someone has a secret. And it's a doozy!!

    I loved this book and couldn't put it down. Gavin is a gem! I adore him. A serendipitous meeting at a music festival has Gavin thinking about a girl named Parker for a year. Little did he know his new friends could find her for him - if only he'd heard her name right and he'd emptied his bag.

    Bayside Romance is book 5 in the Bayside Summers series of contemporary romances. This book can be read as a stand-alone. However I believe that readers would find it more enjoyable if they have previously read books 1-4 because there are several other characters with important roles.

    This book also brings together others from the 'Foster' book family who have had their stories told in the Seaside Summers series. So if you are a fan of the author's writing you may recognise some familiar faces.

    One of Foster's strengths, which I admire, is her 'family tree' style book chains which have interlinking characters. The reader gets to re-meet 'book friends' or 'book crushes', when they become secondary characters in new stories.

    This story, set on America's east coast, is about Gavin and Harper; a couple who met at a music festival and had a one night stand. A year later and both their lives have changed. Harper is feeling defeated after the show she wrote for in LA was dropped, while Gavin is thrilled to see the girl he's been dreaming about again, but she isn't ready for a new boyfriend.

    This story had the elements of a sweet romance laced with Foster's familiar level of romantic heat. The couple both had flaws, but the story didn't feel as complex as some of the other books in this series.
