Audible Audiobook
– Unabridged
Fall in love at Bayside, where sandy beaches, good friends, and true love come together in the sweet small towns of Cape Cod.
Bayside Summers is a series of standalone steamy romance novels featuring alpha male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're fun, flirty, flawed, deeply emotional, always passionate, and easy to relate to. And of course, you'll see cameos from the Seaside Summers characters!
"With her wonderful characters and resonating emotions, Melissa Foster is a must-read author!" (NYT best seller Julie Kenner)
"Melissa Foster is synonymous with sexy, swoony, heartfelt romance!" (NYT best seller Lauren Blakely)
In Bayside Passions....
When Emery Andrews's best friend, Desiree, moves away, falls in love, and opens an inn all in one summer, she feels her absence like a missing limb. Until she visits over the holidays and meets sinfully hot Dean Masters, who's as easy on the eyes as he is to talk to. After returning home, what starts as a flurry of late-night flirtations quickly turns into a deep connection and unexpected friendship. Now, months later, Desiree offers Emery a job teaching yoga at the inn. Adventurous Emery jumps at the chance and heads for Wellfleet, Massachusetts, to reunite with her BFF and her new close friend, Dean.
After months of sharing their lives and their secrets over video chats and phone calls, Dean's ready to move things to the next level. The fact that Emery seems oblivious to the sparks between them and has recently put her foot down about dating friends just means he'll have to bide his time.
When Emery finds a naked man in her kitchen the first morning she's there, Dean doesn't hesitate to move her into his guest room. Maybe now, Emery will see what's right before her eyes - although that guy she's got a date with might be a problem.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2020I want to live in Bayside now!! This doesn't surprise me since every time I get engrossed in a Melissa Foster series, I want to live there! Bayside Passions deserves at least 100 stars! I loved Desiree's and Rick's story in Bayside Desires so much that I couldn't wait to dive into Emery and Dean's story!
Emery is Desiree's best friend from Virginia. They've know each other since grade school and have become more like sisters then BFF's. So, when Desiree found her HEA in Rick and stayed in Bayside, it was only natural for Emery to follow. She wasn't happy in Virginia and there was some chaos in her life that she needed to get away from. Emery met Dean at the end of book 1 when she came down for Rick popping the question to Desiree. They hit it off immediately and the chemistry was very evident. But, Emery put Dean in the "friend zone" and denied her feelings for the sake of the friendship.
I loved Emery!!! Her energy, positivity, her mouth with no filter, loyalty, and her wonderful outlook on life were awesome!! I would love to hang out with her for a few days just to soak it up!
Dean is Rick and Drake's friend and business partner. They've know each other since they were kids and have a strong bond. Dean is a landscaper and, really, an artist. He was a trauma nurse but didn't want to be around all the negativity that was involved with the job. It was sucking the life out of him and wanted to be around positive things rather then negative things. This turns out to be an enormous wedge between him and his father, a successful doctor. Dean knew from the moment he met Emery that she had to be in his life! He just had to get her to Bayside and show her how great they were together. And, Man, did he ever!!! This man is amazing!! He's so patient and loving, especially in how he handled any obstacle that Emery threw in their path. He was also extremely romantic, caring, thoughtful, the list goes on!!
Watching Emery slowly realize that she was capable of loving someone and being in a relationship was wonderful. And watching Dean show her that she was perfect for him was fantastic!!
We got to visit with Desiree, Rick, Drake, Serena, and Violet - which was fun. We also get to meet Rose! Lord, I love this woman!! I want to hang out with her and her friends!! I want to be her when I'm a grandmother!!
This was a fantastic love story with great characters in an amazing town. I highly recommend it and the series to everyone!! Now, on to book 3 - Bayside Heat!!!

I LOVED this story SO much. It is HOT and romantic and sweet and has wonderful characters. It continues this series and I would say it is book 3 in the series though it easily stands al
Emery and Dean are the stars in this book and they are one of my favorite couples. Emery's friend Desiree moved to town and met Rick and fell in love. That is how Desiree met Dean who is business partners with Rick. They had a long distance friendship until now when he talks her into coming to town permanently.
She is a Yoga teacher nd is going to work for Rick and Dean teaching classes as well as her and Dean are besties. So those two things stand in her way of seeing Dean as a man to date. However Dean wants her and he will stop at nothing to have her.
Dean is the total scene stealer in this story. His passion and love for Emery was awe inspiring and Emery is a very lucky woman. He works hard to get Emery to see him but once she does, they totally belong together.
I beyond LOVED this story. It had lots of HOT burn your kindle scenes and characters I fell in love with. I am loving this entire series and cannot wait for more.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2023Emery is on her way to the cape where her bff now lives but she’s stuck in traffic. So after talking to her friend she calls her other best friend Dean he helps get her to his house. She has come early then they expected but Dean doesn’t care just that she there. Emery and Dean have been face timing and texting since last Christmas. And he is hoping to get closer to her but she is scared to date or get involved with a friend. So enjoy another good read and see how it works out!!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2018Have you ever met someone & just clicked? You felt like you had known the other person your entire life? Everything was so easy that you just knew something was going to go wrong? This is the feeling that Bayside Passions brought to my mind. Emery & Dean met & just fell into friendship & a relationship. That's sounds so easy & it really wasn't but you get the idea. They met at a wedding & clicked. Then they carried on a long distance friendship for months. Late night phone calls & texting sessions enabled them to get to know each other without anything else getting in the way. Now that Emery has moved to the Cape, can they move beyond friendship or will something happen to derail the relationship?
This was truly a "happy" book. Emery's character is open, friendly & bubbly - exactly the way you'd expect a yoga instructor to be. Dean is built. Strange thing for me to fixate on but what can I say. He's also patient, sensitive & sexy. What I really loved was the way the author showed that they truly were better people together. He helped her to calm down & be a little less chaotic. He also pushed her to the career he knew she loved but was afraid to pursue. She helped him to smile! She also helped him to be less serious & introspective. This was another great story to add to the Bayside group but can easily be a stand alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved reading Bayside Passions
I loved reading Bayside Passions, the second book in the Bayside Summers Series. I look forward to learning more about this world and its characters and this book did not disappoint, allowing me to catch up with some of my favorites such as Violet and Desiree.
Emery Andrews is beautiful, free-spirited and unique in her character. When her best friend Desiree moved to Bayside Summers, she is left feeling lost and looking to find her own way. After a disaster regarding her boss, and her blossoming friendship with Dean Masters and Desiree's relocation, Emery decides to uproot her life and come to Bayside.
In moving a new life is created for her, a life in which she can teach Yoga to locals and elderly patients. It is in her role that she meets 'Rose' a fun-loving old lady who has been wheelchair bound. Through her practices and yoga, she aims to heal Rose and make her ailments more bearable, learning about the ladies family and past.
Little does Emery know that she has already become acquainted with Rose's grandson Dean Masters, an ex-trauma care nurse who is renovating the gardens of this resort and property. From the moment Dean meets Emery, he is captivated, always wanting more from her than the close friendship they share, but not wanting to push her away. He encourages her to move to Bayside, using the move as an opportunity to get to know her better.
After an unfortunate moment regarding a naked man in Violet's kitchen, Emery is forced to move in with Dean, something that opens her eyes to how thoughtful he is, and how her feelings are more than just platonic. Through Deans persistence and Emerys determination to overcome her relationship fears, they strike up a deliciously sweet romance.
Dean is not without his own struggles, dealing with an overbearing and judgemental father. Emery gifts him with the courage to speak his mind and to persevere despite others giving up. He is a calming force to Emery and is always sensitive and aware of her needs.
I would recommend this book to all romance lovers, and anyone who likes reading books as part of a series or as a standalone novel. This book has made me look forward to finding out more about Violet, who won't fail in making you laugh.

5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty of passion.!
Bayside Passions is another beautiful story in the (Bay Summers Series) After many months of video chats and phone calls Emery is finally relocating to Wellfleet and Dean couldn’t be happier, he’s waited for this moment.
Dean and Emery have wonderful chemistry between them. Emery is a little oblivious of this and she is adamant that she wants to stay in the friends zone, she has her reasons however Dean has other ideas and has his work cut out.
This story is beautifuly paced, its very endearing as you would expect and in true Melissa Foster fashion... there are lessons to be learned and everything has a deeper meaning it’s absolutely fascinating and I always come away knowing so much more.
Emery has a fabulous personality, she’s a bit chaotic, she’s fun, this is what Dean loves about her, she’s had no problems settling in, you can’t imagine her having a problem with anyone.
Dean’s father’s name has been thrown around a few times and you immediately pick up on Dean’s hesitation and you have to wonder what this means.
This story has been building nicely as it focuses on Dean and Emery’s Relationship but when it gets to about 62% it takes on an extra dimension, finding out who the horrible man in Rose’s room is comes as a surprise, and Dean’s father’s attitude towards Emery is awful... how can anyone want to be anything other than pleasant to her.
With Emery worrying and questioning the right thing to do, Dean once again has his work cut out convincing Emery that nothing will come between them.
It isn’t planned but Emery gives an Oscar winning performance to Dean’s Father, Rose loved it but Emery thinks she’s made things worse, unsure she goes home only to find him there with Dean and Jett... it comes as a bit of a surprise but after apologies are exchanged...there’s hope it’s a start.
There are some funny moments but the scene towards the end with Cash and Tango is absolutely brilliant!!
Melissa Foster pulls everything out the bag for another stunning epilogue ..!!
Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bayside Passions
This is a very apt title for a book - Bayside Passions is indeed filled with so much passion and steamy romance that for Emery and Dean it is off the charts!
Emery is Desiree’s BFF and she has decided to up sticks and move to Bayside to be beside her and work in the resort doing yoga classes. Emery and Dean became close after Desiree’s wedding and both of them have been talking for months late into the night getting closer and closer with each call. Emery sees Dean as her BFF as well and is so comfortable around him that makes the chemistry even stronger. Dean would love nothing more than to show her what a relationship with him could be like, but she is reluctant as she always ruins her previous ones and doesn't want to cross that line with Dean for fear of losing their friendship at the same time.
Will she give Dean a chance and let him show her how good they can be together? Or will she ruin it before things get off the ground?
This is yet another great addition to Melissa’s book universe and I can't wait to read the next book in the Bayside Summers Series.
