Right from the album cover this thing gets you attention, Bullet for My Valentine, the name gets your attention, Scream Aim Fire, makes you wonder, pop the disk in, and the first track, Scream Aim Fire, punches in the face with full force, a good kind of punch, Hearts Burst Into Fire, the intro grabs your ears and caresses them with a beautiful hard rock melody, Waking the Demon, it releases some much riffage that it releases your inner demon, Say Goodnight, the lyrics have deep meaning that will make you wonder, Forever and Always will get you laid, Road to Nowhere, again deep meaning and a solo that is easy to play and sounds really good that it makes you sound like pro when you play it, the last track, Ashes of the Innocent, has unforgettable chorus, screaming that is an attention grabber, and the solo just locks you in place, making you want to listen to the song over and over again worth the price, you will not be disappointed, this is my favorite album. BUY IT!!

Scream, Aim and Fire, some tracks that have qaulity written all over them especially the title track, "Eye of the storm" and the heavy metal ballad "Hearts burst into fire".

But what makes this deluxe edition worth it is the bonus tracks "Watching us tonight", "One good reason why" and "Ashes of the innocent " which should have been added to the original release which would have been its saving grace and given BFMV the recognition they deserve as they are epic and heavy in terms of riffs and melodies not to forget Matt Tucks voice.

If you like metal/alternative you will love this band. The music is not only amazing but the way the band sings together and harmonizes is fantastic. The lyrics are really meaningful. Hardly any foul language. Great band, they send a powerful message through their music!

This was my first BFMV album, so I don't have much frame of reference about what kind of band they were, or where they were coming from before this album. The first Bullet song I ever paid attention to on the radio was Hearts Burst Into Fire, which I thought had a catchy alt rock sound with a fast beat and some harmonizing. So I checked out some other songs on YouTube, and they sounded somewhat good, so I bought the album.

Now that I've had the album for a month and have listened to all the tracks, my impression is that this band is trying to go two different directions at the same time. Normally I would say this doesn't work out well for an album -- and unfortunately this is a normal situation. Half of the songs are alt metal/thrash sounding, often with a deep death metal scream placed somewhere in the song. But then half of the songs have a lite, emo-sounding feel to them with harmonizing vocals and such. There's even a few songs (End of Days, Last to Know) that oddly combine that those emo vocals with thrash metal and screaming. Odd. As another reviwer said, "Picture the guy from Fallout Boy singing for Anthrax". Yep.

Overall, I think the album is okay (3.5 / 5 stars). My favorite tracks are Deliver Us From Evil, Forever and Always, and Hearts Burst Into Fire.

This was a Christmas gift for our son and he really loved it. The minute he unwrapped this stocking stuffer it went into the cd player for him to listen to. He was really surprised we found it for him. Thanks Amazon.

This was a great album and I also enjoyed the bonus tracks. Although I lost the first Scream Aim Fire album a few years ago, I am glad that I bought this deluxe edition album.
