About the Author
Many readers ask John from where he gets his ideas. Well, he's a veteran of the corporate rat-race, a former journalist, and he's always been an astute observer of human and social behavior. On top of that, he's really good at embellishing.

About the author

Amazon #1 Bestselling Author and a Readers' Favorite Gold Medal winner.
A veteran of the corporate rat-race, John W. Mefford never realized he was mentally documenting every experience of his professional journey—not until he started his first novel during a so-called "corporate timeout."
A voracious reader of mystery-thrillers since before he could shave, John enjoys weaving a twisty tale that keeps readers riveted until the last page. He's also learned he's pretty good at embellishing. Just don't tell his fourth-grade teacher.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2017This is the most intense story in the Ivy Nash series so far. When I helps a poor old grandfather find one of his missing grandson's things looked pretty good. Then another one of his grandson's is kidnapped and held for ransom. Ivy again, helps the grandfather recover his grandson. All the while there is a man that keeps staring at Ivy. This makes Ivy very nervous, given her past history. Then Christina gets involved helping another girl who is going down the wrong path at school. Christina goes undercover, and while skipping school, the boy they are with is a dealer in brown heroine. Christina stops Nikki from taking it, but it is a brawl between Nikki and Drew, the dealer. Then Drew is shot and killed. When Ivy gets to the hospital to see Christina, there is a band in the waiting room causing all kinds of trouble. After seeing Christina, Ivy is leaving and in the fight with the band and security, she feels a prick on her arm. Then things get really dangerous for Ivy! She is kidnapped and no one knows it. What happens while she is being held is mind boggling! How does this story end? Not like you would expect! And I am not going to tell you either. Read the book....you won't regret it.

- Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2017This is John Mefford’s 4th book in the Ivy Nash Series and is Volume #10 in the Redemption Thriller Series. This one with Ivy and Christine is by far the best to date. There are some very intense torture scenes that Mefford handles like the pro he is. Ivy is caught in a terrible situation and your heart rate will jump right at the start. Hang in there, it only gets better. There are so many twists and turns that will take your breath away. Mefford is fast becoming the king in writing Thrillers series. He has done what seems to be the impossible by running three Mini series along with the main series and is combining them together slowly but with the precision of a surgeon. You will not be able to put this book down unless it is to catch your breath. Don’t miss the best one yet. Job well done, Mr. Mefford.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2017Great chapter development continues in this book. A great read that flows through the story in a way that will keep the book in your hands until it's finished. As the main character Ivy Nash is unusual in background and approach making the series a different read than most in the genre. The author tells a story that takes some interesting twists along the way, throws in some misdirection and keeps you guessing most of the way through the story. Can stand on its own but I think it will add to your enjoyment if you read the whole series.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2017I love Ivy Nash more and more. She is strong, intelligent and caring. John W Mefford has written another fast-paced thriller that will keep you glued to your seat reading. His twists and turns keep you guessing and when you think you've figured it out, he throws in another twist! His writing is concise and the story flows well throughout. This is another really good story in his long list of wonderful stories. I highly recommend this book as a thriller that will not let you down.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2017I started out reading this book during a contest. I was drawn in and had to read it. There is not one page that is dull, boring or needs to be passed over. This author is fabulous. What a thrilling story. I read several different authors which were also wonderful, but this book is fantastic. Just sayin' If you don't read it, you are really missing out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another thrilling Ivy Nash read
I loved the way this book was put together, starting off with the present, then by way of explanation going back in time a little bit, then bringing everything bang up to date. An excellent read, with loads of twists and turns. A missing psychopath who had stalked Ivy for years still haunts her thoughts, an online troll trashing Ivy at every opportunity, and trying to find business premises for her growing business, are all in the background as Ivy is hired to find an abducted child by the boys grandfather.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mefford Does It Again
As with the last 3 Ivy Nash thrillers, you think you know where the story is leading, but it is only in the final pages that all your questions are answered. I am a big fan of John W Meffords books and this one was one of the best yet.
