Editorial Reviews
2011 album from the Austrian Death/Black Metal band. Blood Magick Necromance is an opus filled to the brim with dark and sinful anthems showing a band clearly at it's career peak. The eight new compositions are simply the most brutal, elegant, epic and gripping material ever heard from Belphegor so far. The production comes from none other than legendary studio wizard and Hypocrisy head honcho Peter Tagtgren, who gave the typical Belphegor sound a cutting and ultra-heavy yet crystal clear edge. For visual purposes the band has tapped two famous Austrian artists: Helmut Wolech (a fetish photographer and former mortician) and Joachim Luetke for the magickal graphics and cover artwork.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2011Dont get me wrong, Belphegor is one of my favourites bands since early 2000's but I was kinda disappointed with the last 2 records. They were great but I would expect much more from them. It felt like they were under pressure on the studio, and had to finish the record in a short period of time, not allowing to work more on the songs. Anyway, with this release they are back on the game, giving us that brutal death blackened metal thoat we love! And I have to say we can definitely hear more black metal on the songs than before, even though in general the song are more slow paced tan before. But thats not a bad thing, as you still will hear a lot of blastbeats here. BUY IT, SUPPORT THE BAND!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2015I love this album! Behemoths album The Satanist is, in my opinion, the album where they really developed a mature sound in their music and discovered space and used it to make a really effective album. This is Belphegors "The Satanist" for me. There are a lot more simpler riffs in each song, the drums aren't all blast beats all the time and there are really addicting melodies in this album. Absolutely awesome!

- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2016I call Amon Amarth the AC/DC of the extreme. You pretty much know what you're gonna get with each release. For the same reason I call Belphegor is the AC/DC of the eXXXtreme with their tongue thru cheek humor. This was my first (of 4 or 5) purchases and it's as good a place to start as any others
- Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2011BLLOD MAGICK NECROMANCE is another great album from Belphegor! It is my favorite from them yet. In a genre that has brought yawns from me lately, this surprisingly ripped my face off and delighted my ear! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! BUY THIS!

5.0 out of 5 stars De lo mejor de Belphegor.

5.0 out of 5 stars En excelentes condiciones
Ocasionalmente llegan las cajas rotas, sin embargo, tuve la suerte esta vez de que recibí mi disco impecable. En cuanto al albúm excelente, no hay disco de Belphegor que no valga la pena tener.

3.0 out of 5 stars Caja rota
El disco llegó antes de la fecha y en buenas condiciones. Pero la caja llegó rota y eso le resta puntos a la compra.
