She sat on an antique sofa with her back to him. And nophone anywhere to be found. "...How can I stay if I don't feel safe? ... Well,that's true. ... Are you sure? I knew Ihadn't imagined it."

Harry cleared his throat. "Is someone else here?"

Jordan stood up, twisting around to face him. Her cheekswere scarlet. "Um, no. I mean yes." She scrunched her nose in the most adorable way.

"Were you on the phone?" he asked, although he knew thatwasn't the case.

"Imaginary friend?"

She wound a platinum blond curl around her index finger andshifted from foot to foot. "I was talking to..."

Her pretty lips flattened to a thin line. "One of thekittens--Tallulah is her name--happened to be looking out the window of one ofthe upstairs rooms. She saw a man hiding in the bushes a few minutes ago. See?I told you someone was there."

    Jordan Vaughn is an Animal Whisperer-she can talk to them and understand them. She's cat sitting at the Tucker's for a month. Harry Hill is also going to do renovations for the Tucker's in the month they are gone. Harry has lost his memory and woke up on the ground (he had a piece of paper in his pocket with Har on it and figured his name is Harry and took the last name Hill). He was given a ride to Nocturne Falls where he has been for 4 years now and opened a Renovation Business. Jordan & Harry introduce themselves and eventually he tells her he has lost his memory. She tells him about being able to talk to animals. When Harry woke up there was a cat with him and she has stayed by his side ever since then. Jordan says she could talk to Kitty and maybe find out what happened. They are attracted to each other but Harry doesn't want to get involved with anyone since he doesn't know who he is or if he's even married. Strange things start happening at the Tucker house and Harry doesn't want Jordan to be alone there. Time to try and find out who he is. Jordan talks to Kitty and they find out where Harry is from which is Cats Paw Cove. That's where they decide to go. Jordan gets someone to watch the Tucker's cats and off they go. They are in for quite a surprise!!

    Loved this funny, mysterious, suspenseful and sexy romantic story. Jordan is a zany and funny and Harry is more on the serious side but loveable-perfect match!! Highly recommend and hope there are more Cats Paw Cove stories to come!!

    A man wakes up in a ravine and can’t recall how he arrived there—or his name. The only clue he has to his identity is a rain soaked piece of paper in his pocket that says “Harr”. He decides his name must be Harry and follows a cat who leads him back to civilization.

    This was an interesting book by an author I have before. The ending was abrupt leaving me feeling it ended too soon. Another author did the same thing and indicated more was coming in the next book. Is this the new thing to get a person to buy another book? I don't know if I will buy the next book or any others if this is the new norm.

    This book about Jordan and Harry was so interesting I could not put it down until the end. I also enjoyed the parts of the story where Jordan had conversations with several of the cats and dogs she came across that ended up helping to solve Jordan and Harry search for his true identity. I will be looking forward to reading about more of Cat's Paw Cove,as it seems to just as interesting as Nocturne Falls.
